I couldn't care less. It doesn't affect my life in any way if it is solely any of these or if it is a mixture or if it's just that you accidently fell on your deo stick and you liked it a little bit too much, what made you gay.

I also don't care about gay people in general. They make up for such a tiny portion of the population, that I wouldn't even notice too often, if I wouldn't live in one of the gay party quaters in my city.

What I care about though is the disproportionate media attention, especially on the internet, that LGBT-minorities get, especially because of "supporters" who in reality jut use them as a way to justify their attention-whoring.

LGBT rights movement is slowly but steadily going the way of feminism and becoming a grotesque copy of itself and apart from not being able to marry in some places, I can't find many problems for them and it is now just about forcing people to shut up who share a different opinion on the whole matter. Typical SJW-collectivism.

As a sidenote my uncle also is gay and I always found it rather amusing that it was an open family secret that nobody would directly talk about until my grandfather died.

Well this smells like a trap but fuckit I'll bite.

I think homosexuality is a behavior, plain and simple. The question is, what kinds of personalities are emotionally gratified by sexual contact with the same sex and/or are unattracted to the opposite sex. Nature vs. nuture is the wrong question. Personality is what matters and that's obviously both.

As per my standard theory that masculinity and femininity, you'll likely find homosexual behavior at both tails of the bell curve and in the middle, but for different reasons.

With the middle, you'll likely find this is because they have either a mixed gender identity, or a weak gender identity. With the first, you'll find they're sexually incompatible with mainstream hetero sexuals and as a result, have an easier time being sexual with other gays. This is where you get your "butch" lesbians and "twink" gay men. People with weak gender identities are also attracted to a homosexual lifestyle because the gender roles are more fluid and less pronounced. As their gender identity solidifies more, you'll often find they either become bi or go straight. That's where you get women having a lesbian fling in college.

And as for the tail ends, this is where you get extreme male and female personalities. These are usually high-novelty seeking types who like to push the limits of their sexuality, or are to such an extreme that they're also incompatible with mainstream heteros. This is where you get your "David Bowie" and "Malena Morgan" types as well as your "bear" gays.

As for why people have such an issue with homosexuality, you'll find it either comes from childish insecurity (or projection in the case of deeply closeted gays) or sexual repression (especially the religious types - to them homosexuality is a hop-skip-jump from drug-fuelled orgies).

But that being said, I think there's a lot of people who adopt the gay community as a means of rebellion or to prop up a weak identity. They remind me of what this one Hell's Kitchen contestant said "I'm gay, that guy is parade gay!". These are the obnoxious SJW types, or the ones that feel the need to advertise just how GAY they are. I find the healthiest and happiest gay people are the ones who have come to terms with being gay and don't need to make a big deal about it. They don't hide it, but there's more to them than that and they know it.

As opposed to a bunch of other conservative concepts (European style conservative; what the Republicans are coming up with makes me shake my head more often than not at times), I don't really see an upside to not allowing them. Actually, I do. Not only because it's the usual "they should have the same rights as straight people hurr durr"-reasoning, but because as things are, gays are far behind lesbians in that regard. A lesbian just needs to get impregnated by some rando's sperm and swooosh instant family. A gay dude on the other hand has it a lot harder.

Idk where i stand on the whole marriage or born that way argument since im not really immersed in the lgbt movement myself.. But i have found myself envious of gay men more than once. I know i am 100% straight, I see women as the most beautiful creation on earth and really can not even contemplate how it would feel being attracted to men. But when i actually have to interact and deal with women in my personal life it sometimes makes me think about how much happier id probably be if i could just shack up with another man who thinks and feels like me and never have to deal with women again. Gay men have it made imo.

My biggest problem with homosexuals is all the straight liberals who constantly throw tantrums about how the fact that two dudes can't get married is literally the worst problem of [country] right now. 50% divorce rate? Irrelevant. 1/3 children living with a single parent? Irrelevant. National debt reaching Mars before NASA? Vets on the streets? Obesity epidemic? Illiteracy and higher education that puts you into a huge debt at the start of your life? OH GOD WHY WON'T THEY LET HOMOSEXUALS MARRY!

The best explanation I have seen so far is that homosexuality is caused by a hormone imbalance in utero that affects brain development. So it is largely nature but not genetic. Having said that, there is a nurture component and it is not beyond the pale to think that modern culture can't make gay sex a more acceptable option to some whereas they may not have considered it 100 years ago.

I have some gay friends who are in the closet. I don't bring it up because that would be invasive to their obvious desire for privacy.

RP is not an ideology, but here's my personal opinion.

I actually think RP men are quite open minded and not conservative in the least - not sure where that idea comes from.

I wish I was gay. Any dating shows I have seen, the gay men are refreshingly honest about how they feel about the other person. No games. And they have lots of sex. Unfortunately I don't find men attractive.

Once had a gay man flirt with me. Best flirting I have ever seen - way better than any woman. Women should get lessons from him.

I voted for gay marriage in my country, posted it on Facebook. My first cousin is openly gay, happily married for 15 years (to a man), and I often chat to him on Facebook, on his wall. You are born straight or gay, as a male at least, no question. My dad was totally anti gay. I am the opposite.

Edit: forgot about lesbians - actually think most women are lesbian to some extent, unlike men. That's why women can hold hands, cuddle, go to the bathroom together and even kiss in public and most people won't even notice. Full on lesbians always seem miserable to me, or maybe that was just the ones I met. They certainly don't want friendships with straight men the same way gay men enjoy friendships with straight women, which is a shame.

Gays aren't really relevant to a straight male sexual strategy, and so don't hugely factor in to the main TRP discussions. We do have /r/AltTRP.

Personally, I could give a sh*t what people do privately. It's a travesty that the state inserts itself into private contracts/relationships, and although I do believe that a mother and a father is the ideal parenting unit to raise a child, I think there are fair worse conditions than having 2 moms or dads. (i.e, single parent, orphan)

The red pill side of me is jealous that they don't have to put up with as much of women's bullshit and jealous that they get ass pretty much whenever they want. The purple pill side of me recognizes that any gender is going to suck and fail to live up to expectations when you put them in such an important position in your life. The blue pill side of me is glad I don't have to go through the same discrimination they face.

Also, red pillers are conservative in that they want to forge their own path. The conservatism is definitely not extended to social beliefs outside of anti-feminist leanings. It's more financial and a lashing out against handouts, which directly opposes their philosophy.

It's a combination of genetic and nurture. Whatever the case though is irrelevant. People should be able to fuck whoever they want, children not included. I believe the government shouldn't be involved in marriage or child rearing at all. I probably have some gay friends, but I don't go out of my way to avoid them. I think flagrant homosexuality is pretty sickening to see, honestly, but I'd still defend their right to be weird.

I DO think trans people are mentally unstable though, and we shouldn't encourage and accept anyone who "comes out" as trans as if they are making brave choices. THAT is wrong and sick, and enables delusion at the expense of someone who badly needs mental health treatment.
