Disclaimer #1: Terpers, please don't reply. I know your view on this, I agree with most of it, and what I disagree with is not relevant here. I want to hear the Bloopers.

Disclaimer #2: I personally do not believe that self-esteem issues affect sexual choice significantly and in the way that BP claims them to do. You could also read this post as a CMV of sorts.

Anyway. When the topic of the Cock Carousel comes up, or the topic of BB wives refusing kinky and frequent sex with their husbands ("I'm just not a very sexual person, okay?"), the typical BP\feminst\mainstream view seems to be that the reason women have lots of kinky sex with hot men in their youth is because they have self-esteem issues, and they don't actually enjoy it.

Now, what bothers me with this, is why does female self-esteem seem to work so... peculiarly? Why does a girl who supposedly thinks lowly of herself agree to do kinky sexual stuff she supposedly doesn't like ONLY with hot men. I mean, it's strictly always "I had bad self-esteem and slept with a bunch of players and did things in bed that I'm not proud of" and never "I had bad self-esteem and slept with a bunch of obese fedora-wearing neckbeards and did things in bed that I'm not proud of"

Why does bad self-esteem never translate to lower standards when it comes to choosing which man's approach to welcome? Why does low self-esteem cause promiscuity, but only with high status males?
