I've just been reading it and it might be the biggest bullshit story about TRP I have read up to now, but at least I had a good chuckle about how those nutjobs do imagine us and our personalities to actually be like. There is in fact so much bullshit in there, that I wouldn't know where to start, when dissecting it.

I like the work this lunatic put into all of it though, just have a look at the AmA she created, and I am really looking forward for the post by "her brother", where he'll explain, how he found the way back on the right path. Dis gon be gud.

The best part:

TRP operates on a black-white canvas without graduations, so if you're not operating under their POV, you're a beta

Sounds like bullshit to be honest. Making the guy an EC was probably going a bit far... I very much doubt our EC's are this fragile to a bit of criticism. If you are an EC you've already developed rhino skin...

Also, Some bits are particularly implausible.

He says sorry to all of you who may have been damaged by theredpill and admits that it is not a good place to be, and he will try to truly improve himself, especially on his emotional side.

So.... Currently not buying it. I can believe an EC might have had second thoughts and may want to exit RP... But not that he'd apologize for "all the people he has harmed", nor "think TBP is great" and not "TRP operates in a black/white alpha/beta dichotomy".

Because an EC would know it's not a dichotomy. And I don't know any RP poster that isn't given the complete heebie-jeebies by reading TBP. Makes my skin crawl personally.

As someone else said below, I'll believe it when an EC account appears on TBP and recants with his woe is me... Right now it reads like a Bloops fantasy post. It'd be believable from a "standard poster" but not from a TRP EC.

And coincidentally how bluepillers envision the average endorsed contributor to be - barely an adult, notoriously insecure, easily malleable, practically a low-hanging fruit just waiting to be plucked by some wise female in his life who shows him the light and leads him back on the path of ~~doormatsiness~~ virtue.

I would say "sure, possible" if the OP of that thread wasn't a throwaway and if it had just been a regular poster. But that way it's either a long con of some redpill idiot who gets a rile out of taking bluepillers for idiots, or from some bluepill idiot who wants to create a fake success stories for other bluepillers in order to contribute to the circlejerk.

Either way, the fact that there are people who genuinely believe that stuff makes my skin crawl when I think that they may actually vote.

The problem with the story is that it almost sounds like religious deconversion. I don't think the Manosphere is a religion.

I think one has to make a difference between the community and the basic ideas. Leaving the community is something I can understand - I never really joined it the first place. One can easily think being mired in negative vibes, which is kinda common, and beingn surrounded with angry dudes is not really the best way to spend your life. It's a personal choice. Some guys need to get out all their frustrations, others decide once they learned what they had to learn to not stick around. I personally haven't sticked around but I use the basic framework and ideas pretty much daily.

But the ideas are a different case. The basic things are simply true and you cannot go back from truth to falsehood. Perhaps, you can have more nuanced truths.

Like the basic idea of hypergamy. Everything from logic to experience comes together to prove it, you just cannot go back to ignoring it. But perhaps you can be more nuanced about it - perhaps more nawalty, more focusing on interacting with comparatively less hypergamous women and so on.

If true, it sounds like this guy is transitioning from the Aloneness stage to Freedom/Responsibility. Him reaching out to his sister suggests he is confronting his own agency and power to choose TRP or an alternate path to self-improvement, and he recognizes the problems with TRP. The fact that he is confronting this stuff at what seems like such a young age is a good sign for his future development into a self-integrated adult at peace with his decisions.
