And if not, could this explain some of the divide between red pillers and blue pillers?

If you think about it, if a beta guy applies red pill stuff to his life, he is conducting a social experiment. He changes and he acts differently and then sees how people react to him. He ditches core values he had and goes through a complete paradigm shift. Depending on his success and the effort he puts in, he might get completely different reactions and make completely new experiences and begin to see the world differently.

If you are a blue piller, I think that you change/grow, too, but this change is based on core values that are important to you. So for example, if friendships are important to you, you will improve in "being a friend". So you will get different reactions as you grow as a person, but you don't change completely like a beta who goes red pill tries to. You are basically not conducting a social experiment.

Speaking for myself, I don't think that I could have accepted red pill stuff if I hadn't been on both the "nice guy beta orbiter"-side and the "guy with alpha traits who gives a shit about women"-side.
