After spending the better part of a year at TRP, I have started to form some conclusions about that place.

First, it taps into the anger and cognitive dissonance of men of western society; as masculinity has not only been under active attack, but is becoming more difficult to define and identify in a world of growing complexity. This has arisen from an unholy cocktail of cultural Marxism, fascism, communism, and pseudo-capitalism; whos leaders seek domination and control of civilization. The fast rising population of TRP is evidence that men are becoming aware of the insidious threats facing them, and that they're looking for answers.

There is a lot of good stuff at TRP. They advocate self improvement across all spectrums of life, and try to convince men to wean themselves off the teat of female approval. There is a lot of interesting evo-psyche stuff, and a lot of it is valid. Sorry ladies but the vast majority of you are slaves to your biology, especially when it comes to romantic decisions.

But here is where I start to see real problems with TRPers. The truth is most males are slaves to their biology/programming as well; especially the recently unplugged beta types crawling around the forum. There are plenty of educated and experienced dude-bros there as well, and they do a decent job of keeping the place presentable. And most of the mods are alright - they seem to have consistent beliefs, sound reasoning, and intelligent content.

But the large influx of jaded and weak minded betas who seem to have problems with reading comprehension is not to be underestimated. Often, generic woman hate will see a lot of praise; while anything that tends to challenge the collective beta-male hamster is treated with hostility.

You can somewhat infer the make-up of the population by voting trends. For example, there seem to be quite a number of religious people there, a significant minority. Probably at least 1/3 are betas who use TRP as comfort to tell themselves how terrible women are instead of being honest with themselves about how they suck, and then enacting consistent change over the long term. A small percentage are likely trolls and down-vote brigadiers. Despite embracing an alternative social perspective, a surprising number of TRPers are actually quite close minded to other forms of alternative knowledge (politics, science, medicine, etc). And there tends to be a sort of worshipful reverence for the mods and endorsed members. A mediocre post by a mod will see lots of attention, but an interesting thought or perspective especially one that might challenge the beta ego hamster, will be ignored or decried. You can tell this by the context of responses, often based on subtle emotionality, rather than addressing logical argumentation.

A lot of this is gonna be true no matter what the venue, as the vast majority of people are creatures of instinct and emotion first, and rationality second, if at all. My WAG (wild ass guess) is that only 1/3 of the members are actually successful, well adjusted adults, and who have internalized an alpha mindset and can consistently score with women. Compared to a random sample of people, that's pretty good!

So even though many of the members would be better off practicing and becoming successful in the real world, there's still some good reading, theory, and discussion at TRP. Peace.
