The newer generation definitely seems much less masculine than the older ones, but its not their fault. They were raised by women and schooled by women and told by women how to be men. Those that act too boisterous in school get medicated. What the hell do people expect?

Attitude and entitlement. So much entitlement when it comes to middle/upper class American guys. Not sure if it's cultural or parenting or what, but this stands out to me more than anything. Actually, this is probably the reason TRP exists in the first place. So many guys thinks they deserve a hot blonde with a killer bod, and then get extremely offended and butthurt when the 9 isn't interested in the awkward and entitled 3. "All women are evil bitches and sluts, look at them banging Chad instead of me!" without looking in the mirror and realizing that they have to shape up. I used to see this so much with some of my guy friends in college when they would get shut down. They seem to expect everything handed to them and want others, especially women, to give a mile without moving an inch. So over having guys throw temper tantrums because I turned them down. YOU AREN'T ENTITLED TO ANYTHING.

Phil Zimbardo writes bookbait, just an fyi. His books are marketing for his websites, his self-therapy kits, his seminars, and his friends' junk.

Pretty much everything is his books on men was stolen from internet websites like yourbrainonporn.org, various manosphere blogs, video game analysis blogs, Napoleon Hill, etc. etc. (yeah, I've read his latest book)

He mostly cites his theft except when the source is even marginally anti-feminist.

I don't really travel a lot, but there's a lot of different nationalities present where I work. Not all of them are well represented, and there's the obvious bias of them having ended up in a research institution in America. I'd rather not get into ask the gorey, HR chat inducing details, but I like the Americans best. Cultural barriers can be rather distracting.

Sure, some guys are rather off putting. I guess I don't pay much attention to them and favor the more attractive (personality speaking) men. Then again I found my boyfriend incredibly charming with his video games, cartoons, and clumsy social skills.

What's wrong with western men? I don't really have a broad answer or opinion on that. I don't think anything huge is 'wrong' with western men, really. Some of them are dicks. So are some women. But most people, men and women, are pretty much getting on with things as best they can. I will confess a slight preference for British men, based on my experience of them being less prone to gender-wars silliness and more prone to dealing with other humans as individuals rather than representatives of the groups they belong to.

That said, just reading through this thread, I came upon this:

That. That's what's wrong with a (very small subgroup of) western/North American men. The victim complex can be strong and I will never be an admirer of men with victim complexes. Does bad, wrong shit happen to people? Yes, of course. Is it a nice thing to be sympathetic, generally? Yes, of course. Is "it's not my fault" valid for full-grown adults? No. EVERYBODY has shit to deal with. Men, women, western, non-western, old, young, black, white. Everybody. It's not an excuse.
