Personally, I don't believe FRs written in that manner. There are a number of issues I see with the way it is written. It could certainly be possible, but the guy's writing style sounds a little too try hard.

Not most of them. It's a sub that exists on hate of women, therefore telling stories that downgrade women (especially in a sexual way) feels good to them and feels good to the others in the sub.

I read a comment the other day that /r/thatHappened is about stories that are obviously not true. That stories really in the realm if what could happen don't belong there, even if they are made up.

The post you link to isn't unbelievable, given my life experiences. I also date multiple people and make sure everyone knows that I do so that there is no hurt feelings or confusion later. If a woman said that she deserved respect for being a woman I would say "Respect has to be earned regardless of if you're a woman or not." Truth is he didn't say he disrespected her, just that she need to earn her respect. After she thought about it a while, she contacted him back. This is something I've experienced a few times: a blow up early on but she calls wanting to patch it up. There's really nothing in that post that comes of as unbelievable.

What I disagree with is the idea that this is what makes women's panties wet. I think it's a good idea to hold frame to stay true to yourself. There's no point early in a relationship to fold and say you will respect all women if you really believe that this isn't part of your egalitarian ideal. "Be yourself." As they say. This encounter could have gone the other way, the woman not calling him back, but she's the kind of woman who respects an argument about equality, so she wanted to make up for it. That's it. The idea that his holding frame sends her hamster into overdrive causing her to want him more is, frankly, a little childish

Something you have to think about is that there are a lot of subscribers to TRP. So much that as time goes on, many many of the members well have the experiences where they hold frame and it works out well for them. And some if them will come and post on TRP about what happened, and that's what you see. If the story is boring, no one is going to take the time to post it, so what you get are the more interesting ones that seem like outliers. What you don't see is the 100,000 plates that crashed that weekend. I strongly hold my "no commitment" frame, and this has caused me to lose a lot of plates who want someone for themselves. TRP says that woman would rather share an alpha than be stuck with a beta, but I've found that women don't mind sharing a man for a time, but then they will find a man who will offer to be their only and, even if he has no steady job and lives with his family (to be fair he was there to help take care if his downs brother), she can value that commitment enough to have her pussy "dry up".

I'm not saying it happened for certain at all but the post in question doesn't surprise me either. In general most people never let the truth get in the way of a good story especially when karma is involved.

The only thing in that particular story that stands out for me is the number of missed calls/texts which seems a bit high.

the tragedy of this post is that for such a bullshit story the events involved aren't even that outlandish. I've had stuff about 20 times crazier happen to me. (women trying to pick me up while I'm walking down the street, coworkers imploding and begging me to call them, lesbians calling me their gay crush and clam slamming other women that come near me, teenage girls getting my number from my friends and blowing up my phone, etc.)

If the dude is going to make shit up he should aim a little higher.

I don't believe it happened because I tend not to believe anything without first hand personal knowledge of the claim. My standard for proof is similar to what a court expects in a western context.

A lot of the FRs on TRP are over the top. It is a male space and there is some pea-cocking that goes on.

Remember, TRP doesn't say that men are objectively better than women. TRP says that men and women are equal in their humanity.

The story seems believable to me but I don't know that he actually seduced her. It's more likely the girl just sees him as a form of amusement for herself. He's like a plaything for her really although maybe he doesn't care as long he has sex. When a woman blows up my phone I don't think that she's in love with me or that she cares about me because all it means 9 times out of 10 is that she's restless, she wants me to entertain her, and that she doesn't care that she's blowing up my phone.

Discerning truth and untruth in FRs really comes down to intuition. Some of them are just written in a way that they're believable. Others just aren't.

I don't really bother with them tbh, they're generally too situation-specific, and really only useful for the tl;dr bit.

Im a bit split on FRs, I used to basically act like a caveman to get laid for awhile and I was honestly suprised that it worked, and I have done some pretty dick'ish things and got away with it because girls were attracted to me, including turning a sex-less relationship into the opposite with dread game(before i knew the term) and realizing she could not be faking her increased libido conciously like that, it was not her giving me more duty sex to keep me around. Its rare I read something that could not be real, but im guessing a significant number of them are probably not, its the internet after all.

Believe as in this story happened word for word and exactly how they describe? No, not really. Everyone mis-remembers things and most people when writing on the intranets embellish things, so almost no story on the net is going to happen exactly as someone describes.

I'm not sure if I believe all of them or not.. I used to think no way, but I've actually dated girls in the past where I flat out told them, " I don't talk like you, I don't want to date you " I even called one girl a loser (she was tho), and one I called a "barwhore"..

I don't have to "believe" this stuff happens. I've seen crazier shit firsthand. In my life I have met women who are so batshit insane that stories like the one you referenced above are totally believable.

I'm sure that some FRs are written by elaborate trolls who have nothing better to do, but most of them are true. Even the ones that the average BPer finds unbelievable because he hasn't experienced that kind of stuff in life.
