It doesn't have to be and isn't always a circle jerk. This sub could be better if the users here at least attempt to talk to each other as people.

There is enough value in this sub to justify its existence. You can't sneeze in TBP without getting banned, and they can't talk over in trp without getting swarmed.

It is a circle jerk in the sense that very few (if any) will have their opinions changed over PPD. Same goes with TBP, though the latter will say that changing the opinions of anyone leaning towards TRP isn't their primary goal.

I think that what should happen is TBP should work with Terpers, who are willing to have their mind changed on PPD, to argue for modifications within TRP.

You won't stop TRP as a whole movement through this channel. Those opposing TRP should instead work to modify problematic areas of TRP through collaborating/compromising with TRPers.
