I'm sure a lot of them do, No More Mr. Nice Guy is always praised and cited as changing lives, etc. whenever it gets mentioned on TRP. I don't, in grade school I was bullied and I maintained problems socializing through high school so I developed with an adversarial view of social interactions.

Yeah totally. I was an Eagle Scout, marching band drum major, and played in my church's youth group band. I was too generous with giving out money and free rides. Eventually I found a balance.

Not me. I was asocial most of my teenage years. I was a beta orbiter and that relationship or lack of brought out a red pill side to me. Then I went back to orbiting another girl. After breaking up with her I found Seddit and eventually The Red Pill. I've never been happier. This happened over 6 years.

I would put myself on this list yeah. I would think "Ok golden rule, you should treat people how you want to be treated. So how would I want this chick to act towards me, oh I know, I'd like her to immediately engage me with a combination of friendship/romance culminating in an offer of sex."

What exactly do you mean by "nice guy"? I'm a nice person, I'm also extraordinarily intelligent (99th percentile estimated). In fact I have only ever met one woman who was as intelligent as I.

I am not even sure if I am RP or BP because I am confused by why my advances to females aren't working. I shower them with gifts. I write them poetry. No matter what I do to display my profound intellect they seem to have trouble with the fact that I am very overweight, or maybe I'm just too nice. That's it, I'm too nice. These bitches will never figure out they need to LOWER THEIR STANDARDS and date a nice guy. Cunts.

Side note, if any females are reading this and I sound like the type of guy you'd be interested in, pls message me. But please make sure your waist is 25" or below and have D cup or above boobs, and a feminine face, I am a man of high caliper so my standards are high ;)

I can't say for sure whether I was one or the other. I might have been repressed alpha, but I still have deeply ingrained nice-guy tendencies that completely clash with an otherwise consistent and positive alpha mentality. I don't know if I'll ever be rid of them, but everyone I know casually will tell you I'm the nicest kind of person. I'm much more calculated about revealing myself. In terms of romantic interests, however, I don't play around - alpha all day.

Using "No More Mr. Nice Guy" as a metric - I was displaying some, but not all traits.

I was running several covert contracts. Had problems saying no or drawing personal boundaries. Used niceness "tactically."

I've had nice guy esque flaws, but never ever referred to myself as a "nice guy" and was always alarmed when people occasionally referred to me as such, because half the time it was some weirdo trying to play matchmaker and set me up with some average or below looking girl who was visibly uninterested in me anyways. I once got bailed out of this by a hot, conceited, bitchy girl I worked with. It was the only nice thing she ever did that I knew of.

However, I NEVER went full nice guy. I was always keenly aware that I was really only hanging out with girls because I was attracted to their appearance. Every single time I have ever been asked by a girl if I would be on a date with them/have sex with them/etc if they were physically unattractive I have honestly and immediately answered "NO" without hesitation. And every single time I reciprocate the question right after, they say the same thing :)

Every time a girl I tried to escalate with said "lets just be friends" I either flat out refused her and stopped seeing her altogether or said "sure" then just stopped returning her calls/texts, but have always engaged in polite casual conversation with them publicly. Except one girl, who I got stuck in a weird love triangle with, but I learned my lesson.

One of the most annoying things to me of all time were the incessant myspace copypasta bulletins titled "a tribute to the nice guys." I never got why these guys kept trying the same failing shit over and over. I used to reply with super aggressive shit like STOP BEING NICE THEN FAGGOT.

TBH I approve of and appreciate the nice guy shaming movement, and think it is genuinely a huge factor in TRP becoming popular. Nice guy shaming is one of the rare times women speak directly and honestly about their desires. It is a collective scream of frustration of women everywhere about the collective failure of Western men to act masculine.

In my teens I used to follow the "nice guy" stereotype pretty closely. Then I stopped. Not that it's improved my success with courtship (30 year old virgin here) but having a more realistic outlook on life did improve my quality of life significantly. I'm sure I would be in a much worse place career-wise if I had remained a passive-aggressive pushover.
