So I see redpillers talking about how men's love is deeper in some sense than a woman's love, that women are hypergamous (somehow implying men aren't), and that if a woman is good enough a man will get "wife goggles" for her over the years, if their relationship starts while she's young.

How do you explain this being true?

What reason would there ever be (evolutionarily) for a man to have wife goggles once the children are grown up and the woman can't have children?

If the man's primary objective is to sleep with as many women as possible to spread his seed, why should he care about the woman after she's had his children, raised his children to the point where they are adults, and is now menopausal?

Shouldn't he be looking to actively fuck younger women at that point? Why should it matter if she was a "good wife" for all those years if she can no longer bear children while he can?

Let's say a guy and a girl meet when she is 18 and he is 20. Things are going great, they have kids and a great marriage. Fast forward 25 years. He's 45, she's 43 and on the cusp on menopause... Why should he "love" her at that point? Wouldn't it be natural for him to just want to leave her and be with younger women?

If this is what women have to look forward to, what's the point? Either the guy cheats on you as you get older no matter WHAT you do (you can stay in shape and look great for your age, but he's still going to want teenage girls), or he stays loyal but starts to resent you because even though he won't cheat he still wants to.

Is the concept of "wife goggles" just something red pill women tell themselves to feel better about the fact that as they age their red pill men will lose interest? Is it something red pill men tell themselves in order to feel that their love is "superior" to a woman's love?
