Since I've been using more of OLD and losing faith in mankind, I notice a tendency that I think it's usually a red flag. Men that want to immediately get your snapchat, social media or number to chat. They usually use the excuse "I'm not much on the app" or something else.

First, for safety reasons I don't think we should give our personal contact to strangers and second, I think that most of these men want the personal contact because they want to exchange countless pics (for masturbatory purposes or to decide if you're hot enough for them to make the effort of inviting you for a coffee date) or enter endless chats (to feel validated? Less lonely?) that almost never translate in inviting for a proper date.

It's also not even like they've planned the date and want the number for convenience of contact if something happens. Nor it's like they want a phone conversation, it's usually snapchat or some other app that involves mostly exchange of photos or endless written chats.

Why can't they simply chat through the dating app and only ask for the personal contact after a date that went well?
