How do you ladies feel about the female dating strategy sub?

I’m actually subscribed to both... regardless of what sub I’m on, the posts don’t necessarily apply 100% to my life and situation, so I pick and choose what is applicable and what helps me figure my situation out best.

Why FemaleDatingStrategy: In my previous dating experiences, I was a classic doormat and needed that slap of reality of sorts to show myself that I actually am worthy of my dream relationship and that’s it’s okay to be a bit ruthless during the vetting process.

Why RPW: Being in a long term and committed relationship is important to me, and learning healthy relationship strategies was very important for me. I love embracing my femininity, and inspiring masculinity in my man.

Female Dating Strategy is less applicable in my life now since I have secured a long term relationship, but I still lurk if I need a reminder to keep on valuing my personal priorities and to remove the scarcity mindset I was previously in.

Redpillwomen is about finding someone you can become a team with so you can work together and have balance in your life. Female dating strategy is just toxic and I'd argue perpetuates the opposite.

They effectively just want to use and abuse men completely. Dump them for the littlest thing instead of working out stuff with a long term partner. Seems very toxic to me. They also seem to have warped ideas of standards. Sure to some extent it's good to be picky just because you'll find someone more compatible, but having your standards so high it's near impossible to find? You'll never be happy. They like to accuse men of forcing monogamy on women and that it's fine to have multiple partners in a short space of time, which I would argue is not what rpw is about.

They also don't acknowledge the fact that you are more likely to be fulfilled with someone long term compared to short term. And that being on your own constantly can feel lonely and is justifiable. You can be strong and independent and still want company from a partner. It's not affecting your independent women status. They were literally all saying being in a relationship doesn't mean you won't be lonely.. so don't bother at all? How on earth will that get you anywhere. Sure I can be 100% independent but I choose to not be because I'm more fulfilled that way and it brings balance to my life. Being with one person is more fullfilling than being with multiple for very short periods of time. And I know exactly what I want from a partner and I don't stop till I find it, but I have realistic standards and you shouldn't just give up if they mess up once unless it's a huge mess up. Like communicate. You'll soon find out how compatible you are.

I saw the crosspost to r/iamatotalpieceofshit, browsed through it, and got the impression that it’s a subreddit full of selfish, petty, and delusional women. It seemed pretty toxic...like holy fuck, they absolutely hate men.

Their target group of men are different. Their strategies and theories are for beta men. That’s why they say, don’t date anyone who are on trp, men’s right or mgtow. They know their theory won’t work on them.

I subscribe to both subs and I'm equally enlightened and baffled too. If nothing else, each offers an opposing POV to the other's mostly-dependent on generalization and anger content, but there are lots of bits based in logic and intelligence. It's up to each reader to do their own sifting. Your description of FDS has some legitimacy, although substituting 'man' for 'women' and vice-versa would make it just as applicable to TRP.

Ugh. I’m a woman and I got perm banned from there, first time for using the word slut to quote someone else who used it. I messaged the mods and they lifted it, then second time, I got perm banned because they thought I was a man. I’m a woman, unless somehow I got magically changed into a guy without me noticing. Reason I got accused? I a) refused to agree with their all men are idiots circlejerk and used my own father as an example. My dad, who went back to school, took out student loans and got a better paying job so that my mom could be a SAHM because he didn’t believe in working moms. Then gave up his job to care for my mom after she was diagnosed with terminal cancer. And b) sometimes post on the MRA sub, although not so much now that I’ve discovered here. Reason being, I have male friends who got fucked over by women/the system, and I myself have been fucked over by a woman who was a close friend.

Anyway, they have some good points, like being high value and protecting yourself and not being easy, but a lot of it is just the female version of r/Mgtow. Horrible and harmful advice, an example from the other day being a girl asking for advice about whether she should dump her student boyfriend because, while she loved him, he had huge student loans and couldn’t afford to pay for expensive dates. A mod told her that if he really loved her, he would see her value and find a way to pay every single time, even though he could barely afford daily expenses. What an absolute bitch. I hope her advice wasn’t followed.

The RPW truths we always talk about really negate a female version of TRP, simply because women lose SMV as they get older, as opposed to men, who gain it.

Those women can talk all they want about female empowerment, but dating sucks. It's just a means to an end and, for women, the best ending is a strong marriage, which becomes more unlikely as time passes.

After 5 min scrolling and occasionally reading I found several contradictions in their reasoning.

Be promiscuous until a man is actually willing to commit (marriage) and date only high value males with a lot of money. At the same time withold sex until someone is willing to commit...

They have also some good points but their motivation is often evil to say the least.

It's female supremacist, and it doesn't care a whit about the well-being of men. It's also counter-productive. Women's goals are usually relationship-driven, which is a long-term goal. But unlike TRP (which is predominantly a short-term male strategy to get laid) the methodology of r/femaledatingstrategy is short-term manipulation without care towards the men. Because of this, it's self-defeating.

They ARE preaching about female empowerment. Problem is, like most feminists it's about women's empowerment without limit and at men's expense. That's a short-term nuclear approach, not a sustainable long-term approach to dating.

I think it has some really helpful advice that's pro women and some advice that's really out there.
