I've noticed a pattern with post wall and particularly post menopausal women. Once they stop getting the same attention they were in their prime they turn to younger women and point the finger of blame at them. They become frustrated with the very existence of these sexy young women and attempt to belittle and shame them for being this way. In the case of waitresses or other customer service examples where the older woman is in a position of power I've seen these bitter old woman go OFF at the poor girls for the smallest things. They perhaps don't realise why they are behaving this way but as an outsider it is clear.

I grew up with my mother restricting my older sisters femininity and sexuality while at the same time displaying her own and delaying and concealing her aging. This kindof hypocrisy comes as a result of such a lack of self awareness that it must be somewhat intentional.

This behaviour of course manifests itself in males too but not directly in relation to age as it seems to with women. low value males will get together and talk crap about high value males, call them chads and try to drag them down and gang up on them.
If they see someone with potential they will try to prevent them from making something of it.

The reasoning behind both of these mating strategies is logical and simple. "If I drag down everyone around me it will make me look better" but isn't it easier and healthier to elevate yourself rather than degrade everyone around you? There is only so much you can do to control other people without breaking any laws so why not focus on the only thing you do have 100% control over, YOURSELF.
