My fiance doesn't read this sub regularly, but he knows what the premise is, has browsed in the past, and knows that I'm active on here and he has no issue with it. Why would he? He's a HVM and our relationship has only improved since I discovered FDS 💁‍♀️

Yeah, seriously even a lot of LVM I know still agree with 90% of the handbook.

Most of my FDS mindset before I found Reddit actually came from HVM in my life, not necessarily women.

Well, it might make sense. HVM are targetting in similar ways for how they view and manage their lives. Good men give women something to compare to, which hurts LVM/NVM a lot.

It's frankly good that so many women are choosing single over losers. Men who are of higher value know they are and are not threatened. In fact, it means that their pick of women increase in quality since women put in time to better ourselves.

I just talk about Reddit's "one intact women's sub" occassionally and he knows. I will sometimes share certain stories with him and we talk through the issues with it. Where many men on Reddit would take the side of the LVM in the story, he sometimes doesn't even want to discuss anything about it, because "it makes him sad how there are so many women in such draining and awful relationships, often with children too". He sometimes slips in a few memes in conversations with his friends and colleagues, and he has a good friend who also does this. They are subtly calling out other men in their circle when something doesn't sit right with them.

I'd prefer if this sub remained more secret. I don't think we should go around talking about it to men. They'll try to infiltrate it or get it shut down. Not everything is meant to be shared.

Honestly, I don't agree with everything this sub has to say but I've still taken a LOT from it and am grateful it exists.

If I had found FDS before dating my abusive ex I would have saved nearly a year of my life dealing with his bullshit. We had some fun times together but that in no way made up for the absolute hell he put me through.

Since going back into the dating scene I've been able to end things more quickly when they don't serve me. When there's red flags I don't even bother with giving someone the benefit of the doubt - I am gone. No need to risk it for someone I don't know. If it's a very small slip up for bad behavior but not necessarily a red flag I keep an eye on it and if it happens twice - MAYBE 3 times at max, I'm out.

My boundaries have been much clearer and I don't waste time enforcing them. I make them clear and visible and when they're treated like suggestions instead of rules I leave.

I'll be single forever before I let another man walk all over me and make me cry like my ex did.

My incredible partner actually was the one who told me about y’all! He had been reading FDS to learn how to level up in his own way. I’ve never felt so appreciated and loved in a relationship
