Aww, an HVM I was with fifteen years ago made me a menu like this when I first came over to his place. I’ve found HVM often do genuine little things like this on top of proper gifts.

My HVM randomly gives me gifts because he likes getting me things he sees that remind him of me. He always offers to help me with money too. If they want to, they will.

So true. The difference is astounding. It doesn’t even have to be expensive items. My HVM will bring me a candy bar from the store whenever he gets himself one, or he’ll get me flowers after I’ve had a rough day. You can tell he genuinely loves buying stuff for his loved ones. Meanwhile all the previous LVM in my life spent every penny they had on themselves and their videogames. Anytime I confronted them about it they would pretend it was my fault...because I was clearly a greedy bitch for wanting a birthday present. Uhg.
