Err sweetheart. In China (one of your communist utopia's) the health care was already nationalized. AFAIK they haven't frozen rents/ mortgages and I'm pretty sure they didn't release one prisoner before his time. And credit where's credit due, they did a good job in containing the virus. The prisoners have almost absolute confirmation that they haven't traveled, have only had very limited (if any) contact with the outside world, and in general, don't have much of a need to worry about COVID19 because of those other factors being so severely limited.

I can't think of a lot of valid reasons why we should release prisoners right now, actually, they're in a much more "safe from exposure" environment than everyone else outside.

Our economic system has nothing to do with nationalized health services, prisons and shelter-in-place orders. It's the government that has to make these decisions.
