Trolling

The best time to troll your kids is when they want something.

Cons: Wastes time

Pros: Kid learns not to trust everything an adult tells him. Kid has to go over the word continent to fix his mistake and learns it better than actually just writing down what I told him. Getting an emotional reaction with the boy this way counts as quality bonding time. Kid uses more brain cells this way during a developmental stage in life.

Your child will be expected to sponge and regurgitate every tidbit of information without any idea behind its importance nor accuracy. There is almost no emphasis on development of skills in education today. It is your job to do so. You have to both take opportunities as well as make them.

Little chores like taking your kid to the store become important practice for skills that succeed in life. It sounds stupid, but it is important. Feeding a kid only takes 10 minutes if you do it right, and over an hour if you do it REALLY right. Hype is an important tool.

"Dad! I'm hungry!"

You have a choice. Quick stop by a store for a sandwich, or maybe order pizza. Or you can hype the heck out of it and waste almost 2 hours.

"Let's get a sandwich."

"Okay."

"No... Lets make the BEST SANDWICH EVER."

"OKAY!!!"

"No, we need to plan this out. We need to figure out what kind of structure it should have, what kind of ingredients, lets write this down before we go buy everything at the store."

Why the hell does a grown man need a pen and paper to make a sandwich? He doesn't. The boy needs to practice thinking ahead, planning things, and putting plans into action. Hype helps get the boy excited about mundane crap and willing to do all this for a simple sandwich. However, this does not mean you are excused from trolling your kid. You might suggest to "take a shortcut down this dark alleyway" only to scream "Ambush!" and douse him with a spray bottle or apply some oversized underwear you hid in your pocket earlier. You will also need to "buy into" your own hype and build a 4 tiered sandwich and then wolf down most of it.

Blue Pill Parenting consists of passivity interspersed with reactivity. Entrust your child to the state, and then yell at your kid whenever anything goes wrong. It is a system based on authority and punishment. It's terrible. Children NEED to be trained in the art of discerning stupid ideas, like walking through scary alleyways, especially when it comes from authorities.

Many people will look down on this type of behavior. Children are precious treasures that need to be coddled. You are a terrible father for thinking otherwise. If you coddle them enough, they will magically develop these bullshit-detecting skills, bad-idea-avoiding skills, operation planning skills, and all the character traits that lead to success once they reach 18.

TOYS

Toys serve three functions. They help your child develop skills and character traits needed to succeed in life. They also act as bait for other kids so that your child can develop communication skills needed to boss other kids around. (The listen/follow directions training instilled in most blue pillers is perfect for training minimum wage worker drones.) The fact that he owns the toys gives him a slight authority over the visiting child and he can practice leadership skills. Finally, toys are meant to be lost. Your child is supposed to lose toys. The sadness from losing a toy not only prepares a child for grief in the future, but also teaches the child to remember important things.

Guess what your kid is doing whenever some unnamed bitch has custody? IPAD. That poor boy is sitting in front of an IPAD for hours. Alone. Developing nothing but atrophy. You know those stories of children who run up their parent's phone bill while playing free games? That's the norm. That poor son is literally playing IPAD whenever that heartless bitch has him in her clutches. He's being trained to mindlessly sit still and following directions inbetween flashing lights.

Legos. OMFG. The delayed gratification, planning, patience in building, pain tolerance from stepping on them, cleaning up afterwards, easy to lose. Legos are god-tier toys.

Nerf guns. They get your kids outside. More importantly, they force your child to interact with other children. Buy a set of these and take your kid to the park/beach/wherever. Force him to cold-approach other kids and convince them to play.

Toys can help turn your kid into a sheep or a lion.

Teaching

Blue Pill Teaching involves pointing out the mistake repeatedly interspersed with punishment. The problem is multifaceted. This wastes time, this imprints the incorrect action strongly into the memory, and it damages the relationship with the child. If a blue pill child is daydreaming instead of doing homework, blue pill parent will yell and lecture the child for ten minutes. Chew him out, possibly punish him, and then expect the emotionally aggravated child to somehow learn his lesson and then return to doing homework after being aggravated.

The best course of action is to simply interrupt the incorrect action, then practice the correct action several times. Red pill dad catches his child daydreaming. He points to the homework problem that should be worked on, and goes over the problem solving strategies with the child verbally. He reinforces the correct behavior and avoids a useless confrontation. He gives the child a hug or pat on the head when the boy gets his work correct.

How negative reinforcement works: When a child makes a mistake, you aggravate and traumatize the child sufficiently that it is seared into his memory. The next time a similar situation occurs, the child remembers the trauma and decides to take a different course of action.

How positive reinforcement works: When a child makes a mistake, you practice the most efficient solution and then reward the child when the child can perform the most efficient solution. The next time a similar situation occurs, the child remembers the most efficient solution and carries it out.

Option 1. Don't touch this cabinet. This is the cleaning supply cabinet. Do not touch it or the things inside the cabinet.

Now, he can follow your instructions and remember not to touch the cabinet. OR he can mess with the cabinet.

Option 2. This cabinet is where Daddy keeps the cleaning supplies. Look, I left it open [opens cabinet door] . Someone could get hurt if they mess with the chemicals inside [points to chemicals and makes a bad face]. Be a good boy and close the cabinet door for me. Good. OOPS, I opened it again. Can you - Good job! High five. Thanks for keeping me safe from those bad chemicals.

I created a situation where he doesn't have a choice to follow or not, I've actively trained him to prevent such stupidity in the future. The obedience is implied and it never occurs to him he even has such a choice.

Any situation where I have to get angry to get my point across is a failure on my part.

Negative reinforcement causes your child to associate trauma with learning. That is the last thing you ever want to do. Don't traumatize a child to "teach him a lesson".
