I was reading this one book where the author wanted to make a point that you can always learn something from someone, even if you don't like them. He then legit went on a 5 page long rant about how he HATED the ever loving shit out of a guy just because he portrayed women as materialistic and selfish in all of his movies, but the author decided to look at the dude's film-making skill rather than the disgusting content that makes the dude deserve to die a slow and painful death.

I think your book was banned because the content in it threatened a dude's self worth as a human being. In his eyes you were randomly attacking him without any provocation so to him, his actions to get your book banned was completely justified and was the right thing to do. "He stood up for himself".
