People seem to wake up, some kids shooting up schools is only a symptom of a much bigger problem. There are regions where unemployment among young males is more than 25%. That usually leads to quite the ruckus, but it seems panem et circenses also progressed quite a bit... Still, I think this will get worse before it gets better.

Interesting period ahead. I will watch from the sideline though.

Yep. I was talking with some left-leaning friends about this after they were talking about "punching nazis" and other borderline revolutionary acts. I made the point that you really don't want to shut down a person's freedom to say whatever in the hell they want at the same time that you're introducing violence into political discourse.

People on the extreme end of the left hear a lot of voices of support in the echo chamber, but ignore the silent majority that is waiting in the wings and quietly observing everything that is happening. As a matter of personality, the conservative aspects of a society tend to be better organized and are more likely to have served in the military. Disenfranchise a large section of the population and you get things like the Arab Spring (desire for human rights), opioid crisis (lack of good jobs/productive outlets), any of the French revolutions. I'll admit, you can push people around for a while, but, eventually, they snap and start pushing back. I hope the political discourse in the US takes a turn for a more civilized form of engagement, but I fear that it isn't going to happen. There are already people "prepping" for the collapse of society while others are actively trying to destroy the foundations of western society which included strong families, objective logic and reasoning, a (mostly) fair legal system, and Judeo-Christian values. I'm not saying western civ is perfect, but I'd rather live in the US than any of the other available options. Hopefully, shit doesn't completely fall apart in our lifetime.

Well my son won't be a danger to ANYONE. I've trained him to be red-pilled and politically apathetic and to keep his head down until civilization collapses. He won't be out fighting in the streets, he'll be waiting it out with me underground. My philosophy is every fire-fight, violent protest, riot, etc avoided is a victory. He doesn't get enraged at shit, including political shit -- he just laughs at the absurdity of it all (the freak show).

Civilizational collapse is inevitable, whether or not it is climate changing, a Carrington Event, Yellowstone erupting, overpopulation, a technological singularity (with AI going Skynet), WW3 between the US and China or a CW between intractable factions in the US. My strategy is to build "outside the box" defenses, wait it out until the majority of people have either killed each other or starved to death, and then emerge. (I will come out at night with night vision to harvest food, tend gardens, etc. Much of what I grow doesn't look like food).

I have an isolated garden where I grow shit that will kill you deader than a doornail. Nightshade, water hemlock, to name but a few. When the SHTF and we are WithoutRuleOfLaw (meaning desperate people looting at will), the stuff that grows in the isolated garden will be placed in neat rows, and labeled as blueberries, carrots, etc --"flypaper" for looters. The main food sources I will be eating will be stuff that doesn't even look like crops or food sources. (Amphicarpaea bracteata, cattail tubers, duck potatoes, etc)

During the day, fiber-optics will channel sunlight into the underground shelter, which has its own underground well and water filtration. My son is fighting age but he won't be fighting anyone.

They never blame the parents for school shootings because that would lead to questioning what the parents believe: modern liberalism and feminism. Both tear down men constantly, blame them for everything. White, black, brown, doesn’t matter. After seeing lots of Mgtow posts from blackpeopletwitter I see how black men are shamed. The tactics are the same for all of us, but they’re shifted for racial and cultural differences. It’s horrendous seeing how black men are treated openly by black women.

The more this happens the more the patterns emerge. Add to it that a lot of these guys are low status males and they’re ignored by women. Mgtow tries to tell men to stop seeing your value in the eyes of women. doing this has improved how I see myself, and I try to tell younger guys that how a girl sees you doesn’t define your worth.

Here is something to think about:

The responsibility for a particular mass shooting, or other crime, belongs specifically with the person who committed the crime.
The responsibility for a trend in mass shootings, or other crime trend, belongs with the society.

What I mean is, if you have a country where there is a mass shooting on average every few days, then holding the individual perpetrators accountable will not fix the problem. I'm not saying they should not be held accountable and punished... they certainly should be! But that will not fix the problem!

People respond to the situations they are put in. If you put a large segment of your population into a situation where they feel attacked then some percentage will become violent and fight back. This is not a difficult idea... it's fairly obvious.
