Just a quick post here, but you may find this useful.

I've swallowed the Red Pill - twice - Once when I was 21, and then again at 25 after slipping to beta behaviors in a 2 year LTR. One of the absolute constants after swallowing the red pill is that you will receive resistance...from EVERYONE. Not just your lady, not just your plates, but your friends, family, and colleagues.

For example: After first taking TRP, I began lifting and setting boundaries for myself. I started to be firm in my convictions, and stood up for myself. Several things happened:

  • My friends started to make fun of me for getting more muscular. I had a mix of very skinny and overweight (not whale-like though) friends. They taunted me, saying things like "oooh mr muscle head" and trying to discount my progress.
  • Female friends, and girls I was 'orbiting' (although I was never so clueless to be a complete little bitch to these girls) started saying I've changed. They wanted to hang out less, and didn't want me to be around their friends. They couldn't imagine a world where I might be able to wheel one of their friends.
  • These same girls couldn't believe I would possibly say no to them. "Hey wanna grab some food and come over for a movie" "Nah not right now" "Uhh okay... you're acting really weird". You will get a LOT of "You're acting really weird" and similar type comments.
  • My own Family started taunting me for studying harder, for going to the gym all the time, etc.

You will receive resistance in all possible forms. You, as a beta male, have filled a particular role of usefulness in these peoples lives. They've relied on you to unfailingly pull through on certain things for them, whether it's a woman using you for something or your friends being comfortable with your role in the social hierarchy. Most of this resistance comes from their unconscious, your friends never actually thought "I like ____ cause he goes with the flow and doesn't challenge my social standing", but their unconscious is thinking it. You can't necessarily blame your friends or family doing it, but you can with the women. They are knowingly feeling threatened because they were knowingly allocating you to a certain role in their lives and it was NOT a role of being sexual with.

You HAVE to push through. If you want to become a man who is his own, that people will look up to, you cannot let their efforts deter you. PUSH THROUGH. It is simple psychology that people will try to bring you down if you begin to rise above them.
