So many times have I heard people complaining about the innate misfortunes they hold. It usually goes something like this: "Life is so unfair! If I had this this or that, I would be a millionaire!"

Of course, these are usually the people that tend to be unsuccessful in life. In fact, I used to be one of them, and even still succumb to their line of thinking. Why? Because it's easy. Because we don't want to accept blame for our misfortunes. Because we can't accept being wrong..

What I have come to realize is that life IS unfair. And that is a good thing, it is a wonderful thing, in fact, to me, it has become one of the most wonderful aspects of the human condition.

I don't want us all to be equal, I want life to be like that in the wild. Competition. Kill or be killed..

We need to love that life is unequal, because, under that pretence we can work our ass off and defeat all our competition to get to a stage where life becomes unfair to our advantage. We don't all start out the same. Some people have the odds stacked against them and some people have it easy. Regardless of who you are, if you work hard enough, you can get to a stage where you are at the top, and the odds are in you favour...

Strive for it. Internalize it. Quit blaming and asking for fairness. Get the odds in your favour. Conquer your domain.
