An atlantic article titled "Why Happy People Cheat : A good marriage is no guarantee against infidelity". Won't link that trash here. It caught my eye because of the first line which made me scoff. What followed was textbook TRP:

Most descriptions of troubled marriages don’t seem to fit my situation,” Priya insists. “Colin and I have a wonderful relationship. Great kids, no financial stresses, careers we love, great friends. He is a phenom at work, fucking handsome, attentive lover, fit, and generous to everyone, including my parents. My life is good.” Yet Priya is having an affair. “Not someone I would ever date—ever, ever, ever. He drives a truck and has tattoos. It’s so clichéd, it pains me to say it out loud. It could ruin everything I’ve built.”

Now the article is nearly 5000 words long and is part of a book on Infidelity. The author (a therapist) speculates various things that may explain Priya's affair: Her earning lower than her husband leading to her being deprived of power in the relationship, her conservative good girl behavior leading to her suppressing her own "needs", lack of gina tingles, etc. It amazes me how much time and energy is wasted when our POV is blue-pill. Even with a semi-red pill POV we understand all there is to this in the first few sentences I've quoted.

Fellow men, add a little dark triad to your personality. Feel free to remove this post if its redundant or of the type "Water is wet".
