I would agree on most of them but there is good content if you look for it. For Example i lerned to Play the guitar just by watching YouTube. Also i watch alot of Fitness content on there when I dont have time to read or WhiLe i do other stuff. Right now i am trying to learn how to paint from there. You forgot arguably the second biggest one (after porn) which is video games. Esports, Twitch and Youtube have made it seem as though video games can be a career to a lot of young guys (even though in reality, you have less chance of making it as a professional gamer than as a rapper).

I have a friend who was completely addicted to Overwatch, wanted to go pro and all that, until his parents pulled the internet and got him back on track. It makes you lazy, fat, and irritable. When I first came to TRP I was desperately hoping that I could cling on to video games, honestly letting go was harder than letting go of porn. Porn is obviously bad for men but video games get overlooked...if you're new to TRP (probably in high school) and you're still holding on to video games, let it go. Go to the gym in your designated play time.

But like it or not when used correctly YouTube is probably the greatest teaching tool of all time and it has made me a much more well rounded person. Fitness tips, boxing techniques, cooking, car repairs/other handiwork, hell even game and sex advice. All of these have helped me become a better person.

My method when it comes to the media is this:

I find indivuals. People on Youtube, in Slack groups and on subreddits.

Why do I go to the individual? Because usually "groups of people" have to conform in some way. They have to sell out, sell their souls for a profit. To me it is fairly obvious that all mainstream media is tainted at best and a lie at worst.

So, basically, find people who are "in it" not only for the money (though of course that is a part of it) but mostly because they love spreading truth.

From my perspective, the truth is the most powerful thing in the world. It is like a source of ever-lasting energy.

I think it's down to you to determine what is an acceptable indulgence and what is a detriment in your life. It's different for everyone. There is no one size fits all. This list may be a good starting point. And the conviction you have behind making your own decisions is a lot stronger than being told what to do/not to do.

The only one I definitely can relate with is news/social media but then it's important to be aware of what's going on to protect yourself.

Would love to see a discussion on good places to get media and news. Reading and staying informed is VERY Red Pill, and should be as much of a routine as a workout. Fact is you will get spin and bullshit no matter what source you read, but at least read sources where you get actual NEWS (technologies being discovered, political happenings, etc.) and not 24/7 'Trump said X today here's why it's bad!).

I recommend:

The Wall Street Journal - has a pro-business/conservative spin. But required reading for anyone wanting to stay informed of happenings in the business world.

The Economist - Has a globalist spin for sure, but by far the best publication to get cut and dry news from around the world

Bloomberg - Like a liberal WSJ

The Atlantic - very left spin and many articles written by people in their 20s so use sparingly. But can produce solid content.

and then find one industry publication and read it weekly. Ideally, the industry you work in. This will help you become super informed and specialized.

The main steam media here in Australia has been completely taken over by feminists and lefties. This includes the newspapers and free to air TV. FFS the SBS here, a multicultural station, broadcasts Al Jazeera. And we, as the taxpayers, are paying for this rubbish.

For the most part I'd agree. You can still find good forms of media out there, but porn is useless and destructive, and movies/tv are largely geared for female and beta demographics.

Media itself is important. It allows us to learn about the world and experience things about life from the comforts of our home. If my life were all about work, women, and lifting weights, it would be a dull life.

If your media diet is all shallow, low substance stuff, I recommend moving to actual books (non-fiction AND novels) and listening to jazz or classical music. Go through the greats and the classics. Don't pick up what's trendy today. Have you read Don Quixote? Have you listened to A Love Supreme? Have you read a book about the history of Middle Eastern conflict, or do you just base your opinions on blogs and twitter?

So the media. Much of it (like the choreplay stuff, get her beta comfortable and relaxed) are all lies and ranting. And if you observe the writing, it's almost always written with a beta man as the target subject, the man who just doesn't get it. I theorize that subconsciously this is just another shit test. Specifically regarding choreplay, the truth is that the mundanities of real life have killed most bedrooms long long ago. Even the choreplay myth, it's not doing chores that are sexy, it's the fact that you might be showing some physical strength doing some heavy lifting that might be the real reason. You're showing off something attractive, like a sneak peek.

Go back to when you first hit puberty and your early teen years and observe what you thought, what you saw and felt. Look at people around you, their behaviour and thoughts and fantasies. Those thoughts and feelings and behaviours - they will tell you everything about attraction, unfiltered and unconditioned.

So why does blue pill media advice fail totally? Just the very thought of having to tell a man how to be a man disqualifies you to the friend-zone or immature child zone. If you follow that media advice, it will ONLY help the beta bucks side of the equation or filter you out. That IS the intention.

It's vitally important that even in doing work around the house, you're clearly the one leading in your frame, because it's your goddamn house first and you have a vision for it and how you're gonna own it, not because the wife thinks "men are pigs and need to pull their share of the load". These subtleties mean everything.

In my life, I happened to get exposed to stuff like short films shaming men for checking out at women (courtesy social media and the girls and feminist brainwashed guys sharing stuff like that out there) and I even believed all that for some time -- but as anyone who swallowed the pill knows -- all that will be instantly reversed if it was her alpha involved.

I had this defunct pattern in my first relationship. When it wasn't working, she'd insist I do this and that. When I tried doing everything the way she wanted, she'd then say, "My dad / brother would also do all that and more for me..." And on one occasion, I even had to hear, "You just behave like a pet dog. You're robotic. Not attractive at all...." - I followed the media shit just to fall flat on my face.

Oh man, did I lose my respect in that one.... I even realized that I was putting out too much dad or big bro vibes that killed the tension.

At that time, I had no idea what frame or developing it meant (I'm still figuring it out, wasn't satisfied with the definitions, need more examples). But one thing is clear -- to hell with all that media crap! It's a shit test.
