The west and soon the developed east nations are actually going through a similar stage that brought down Rome... something about culture stagnating and thus the rise of people losing morals, discipline and chaos lurks.

Its when society has undergone long enduring times of "Peace" and development, the discipline and morals that led to this advanced society are pushed aside and taken for granted, people start acting out their individualism disregarding any negative effects it can bring to the group.

Usually in the past what "reset" the society were wars or big chaotic events that forces people to work together, men, and their "masculinity" thrives because things get done, problems are solved with logic and action rather then whining and complaints, rules and laws are enforced, women who accept their strengths and weaknesses, complies with what needs to be done, they contribute and cooperate.... and society rise again...

its a cycle.

Fuck if I know, I don't live in her head. I agree 100% she should have said something earlier. The problem I have is there are a lot of people in here who take "innocent until proven guilty" and any doubt in her as a reason to stop any investigation. If a supreme court nominee obviously didn't agree with my own personal beliefs on how to interpret the constitution, I would be all for delaying tactics within the bounds of senate procedure. If that's what the dems were doing, it would be what it is. But that's not what they are doing. They are slinging mud and making (admit it, obvious) false accusations, trying to manipulate the proceedings outside of senate procedure, at the expense of one man's career, his character, and his reputation. Senator Graham pretty much spelled it out yesterday better than I ever could. It's disgusting and while I tend to lean democrat in many areas according to their platform; their actual voting record, behavior, and anti-male tendencies has made it all but impossible for me to consider supporting them in any manner.

I don’t know who you listened to but she gave plenty of detail. Apparently enough to convince a sufficient amount of republican senators that an investigation is needed. An investigation that, for starters, could go get a statement under oath-as opposed to written third-party denials- from Mark Judge, who was placed in the room by the accuser. So don’t pretend it’s inconsequential.

I think you’re missing the point here. Say you’re right, and democrats are just using this as a stalling tactic. That would be acceptable to me, if only because it gives senators more time to consider the nominee in light of these accusations, many of whom have already expressed enough doubt to get us here in the first place. This isn’t a trial for Kavanaugh, it’s a job interview. In the presence of numerous credible accusations, we don’t need proof beyond a reasonable doubt to decide Trump needs to produce a better candidate, one who isn’t mired in doubt. He’s not going to prison, he just wouldn’t get one of the nine most important jobs in the country. No employer would hire like that and neither should we.

It mentions his normal buddies that he hangs out with, judge and PJ were already known to be his friends. It proves they went for skis and then went to the beach the day after. Assuming some of these guys were at the party then why doesn't anyone remember it? PJ was among the four "witnesses" that Ford had, none of them remember this party. I hope you don't live in California, its illegal to keep grasping at straws.

Edit: Ya know what lets continue your line of reasoning, are we going to have the FBI investigate every single gathering that PJ and Judge were present along with Kavanaugh? Being friends I am sure there are plenty to choose from. Would be nice if there was some way to narrow it down to a specific date or place, but who am I kidding, its not like accusers usually provide such things....oh wait.

Actually it wouldn't be a win-win for everybody. It would 100% only be a win-win for the democrats and a lose-lose for the republicans. Heres why. If they opened up an investigation against Kavanaugh it would delay his confirmation hearing until more than likely after the mid-term elections, which is exactly what the democrats want. They 100% know that even with an FBI investigation will bring back absolutely no corroborating evidence for this case, but they simply do not give a shit. I mean come on! Look at her story. Although it sounds convincing, this woman can not remember where the house was, how she got there, how she got home, who was at the party, and on top of that every witness she has named that was at the party has denied ever recalling this event, including her long time friend. The Democrats also don't give a shit about Christy Blassy Ford either. Feinstein knew about this well over a month and a half ago, but chose not to bring it up until ONE WEEK before the hearing because she knew that if they could call for an FBI investigation they could delay this confirmation long enough to maybe win some seats back in the mid-term. Their call for the FBI investigation is not because the democrats give a rats ass about this case, or even Christy Ford for that matter, it's because they want to delay this confirmation for as long as possible so they can win the mid-terms and deny every single appointee of Trumps after that.

I'm sorry, but if you think an FBI investigation is a win-win then you my friend have been blinded by the veil the democratic party has draped over your head. Its disgusting. They're using a very emotional and sensitive topic of sexual assault to win over the peoples hearts, when in reality, they simply do not give a shit about any of the things they say they do. What they care about is political gain, and that is why I am absolutely appalled at the way the democrats have handled this entire process and Kavanaugh doesn't only deserve to win this seat on the SCOTUS, but the Democrats who are a part of this sham should be removed from office for their childish and deceptive acts.
