She IS right, though tbh. Ricky Gervais wouldnt "identify as black" back in America's post-colonial-and-seperate-but-equal years. Ricky is, therefore, wrong because the white people didnt "assimilate" TO the culture, they pried people away from their otherwise legitimately-held beliefs and used force to "assimilate" other people to a religion. But this "assimilation" did not grant them FULL citizenship or give them any favor, rather it "put them in their place" and makes people like me feel hopeless against the rise of a new "white" regime. Taking people and forcing them into servitude is not ideal when you're on the other end and white people always knew this and you know it too; just like everyone knows dick cheney was our "secret" president. Ricky Gervais is indeed a white person because he can't be black even if he puts make-up on this is because people were enslaved due to their RACE and so even their descendants dont have a "right" to wear dreadlocks or wear pocahontas feathers because that stuff was legit OUTLAWED so they maybe shouldnt go to jail but a public shaming is always nice.
