What happened behind the words. Your SMV 6, she thinks her SMV is 6. (I'm being arbitrary with the numbers, you could both be 4s or 5s for all I know.) She sees him and goes "oh, he's a 7. No point bothering there." He then calls her beautiful. She thinks, "hmmm, maybe I'm not a 6, maybe I'm a 7."

You come back and talk to her. She's thinking "ew, this revolting 6 possibly 5 thinks I'm in his league. Gross." Goes out to his car, "let's see if I'm a 7, will he kiss me?" The rest is tedious. You should also note that you may have drunk enough to compromise your clear perceptions of things. You don't need to be drunk to compromise your perceptions.

Long story short, raise your SMV if you're being outdone by skinny tall quadroons. I suspect this chick is like a 5 or a 6 and not one I'd be wasting my time on, but you've gotta practice somewhere when you start out.

Had a similar thing happen to me on a couple occasions.

One evening I even drove the bitch to the venue, she was flirting with me the whole time mind you, only for her to ghost me right in the middle of concert to go hang out with the piano player during a break.

If you're "working on her for like an hour" then you're saying far too much. She will have 95% decided that she would have you as an orbiter rather than sleep with you in the first 5 minutes. That 'friend Chad' is not a friend, he just stole your girl. If he was a friend, he would have just ignored her. Chads don't need gimmick lines as girls are attracted to him by just his looks.
