The reality is, this will never, ever work, and not because of discrimination or any sort of laws.

This won't work because: 1. Men won't care, they just won't. 2. A lot of women will think this is weird and stick to whatever services they are using 3. If they only hire women in their back offices/engineering, this place will go out of business immediately. Due to infighting/laziness/incompetence 4. The drivers will be horrible, bitchy, and probably rude to the passengers

This will fail on every level. This is just a response to too many beta uber drivers being creeps to high SMV girls.

A better way to tell if there is a market for this service would be if uber had like an "uberpink" where it only matched with women drivers with women passengers, etc. But it would take a few minutes longer and thus be less popular and eventually die out.

Guys. Chill. Uber drivers are mostly men because this job is merit based only. Women are also known to be cheap concerning tips. No girl ever is going to drive while her peers are partying on a Saturday night.

I don't see Sexism in this one. If women want women drivers, and women drivers want women costumers, then they have all the right to do so. If men want to use women drivers, then be my guest. Make an Uberesque service with women drivers.
