Fuck Bernie. With his tax plan every dollar a person makes over $250,000 they will only see 25 cents of. This will kill the motivation for people to pursue professions like doctors and greatly reduce the drive of motivated entrepreneurs who want to change the world and make millions in the process. I like Sanders more than Hillary or Trump. I don't agree with his socialist rhetoric, but I think he's at-least genuine. Hillary and Trump are both crooked as they come from head to toe.

I'm not happy with my choices to say the least. If Hillary is the democratic candidate I'll vote for whoever is running against her, otherwise I don't really care at this point.

Hell no. I give him some level of respect for at least being honest enough to admit he's a socialist, rather than dancing around it like most of the Democrats (and many Republicans) do. However, his entire campaign is based on exploiting people's greed and stupidity. "Vote for me and I'll give you a bunch of free shit, which those eeeeeeeeeeevil rich people will pay for! Just hope that you don't ever intend to get rich...and that you don't realize the standard of what is considered 'rich' will be dropped significantly after I get elected." His 'free shit for everyone' plans are entirely unsustainable. Hell, forget increasing taxes on the rich, the nation wouldn't be able to afford it even if he just flat out took everything the 'rich' own.

But like I said, Bernie's honest, so I know what to expect there. I'm more disappointed with how the Republicans are handling this election. This election could have been a slam dunk for them. Their opponent is going to be either an admitted socialist or one of the slimiest politicians in recent history, who would be behind bars right now for national security violations if our justice system wasn't so rigged. All the Republicans would have had to do is run a halfway decent candidate and, while they'd have the usual uphill battle fighting the liberal media, they likely still would have won. But what do we have instead? The Republican front-runner is absolutely atrocious. Trump's campaign is nothing but platitudes, celebrity status and vague slogans with virtually no details about policy - the exact same thing people got on Obama's case about when he ran. Anyone points out the issues with Trump's record (long-time support of Democrats/Obama, various liberal positions, etc.) he just responds with insults, avoids the subject and/or boycotts debates. But the voters don't seem to care and don't seem to be listening to what he's actually saying or questioning the details of exactly how he's planning on 'making America great again'. And the most of the conservative media isn't questioning him because they're on his side because he's good for ratings. Cruz and Rubio both suck for various reasons, but they aren't nearly that bad.

Honestly, my best hope for this election is that it turns into a complete disaster and causes some serious damage to the whole system; worse than Bush v Gore in 2000. Like Rubio or Cruz wins the Republican nomination, so Trump decides to make his own political party (with blackjack and hookers) and runs third-party on the right. And Bernie wins the Democratic nomination, which draws in Bloomberg or some other closet-socialist to run third-party on the left. Then the vote is so fractured that nobody makes it to 270 electoral votes and the election has to be decided by the House of Representatives or something.

If I had any interest in voting, I'd go for Trump. Lesser of all evils because Hilary is a cunt that belongs in jail and Sanders is a socialist bitch. I'd rather have a dead body in office than either of those twats.

Bernie is the continuation of the New Deal, of the economic bill of rights FDR proposed and backed by the sentiments of the Occupy movement. Privitization has failed us. Austerity failed us. Trickle-down failed us. Because institutions that are beholden to shareholders and not citizens will screw the later to promote the former. The invisible hand demands it. We need government to combat big money. First we need to get to get government out of bed with big money by electing candidates who do not accept big money. Who is the only candidate who does not have a super PAC? Who is the only candidate who has always been for breaking up the big banks? Who is the only candidate that acknowledges that the president can't do it alone?

Everyone loves to hate on socialism and equates it to communism - which of course has never truly been practiced and eventually turns out into an oligarchy or a full blown dictatorship. The idea is this - how do you care about your common man? Do you let them starve when they're ill? Survival of the fittest with the free markets? If that's the case why do we pay our taxes and support social programs like park building, road building, etc? I'm not saying the government is the solution to a more community oriented society but we all have to band together and help each other if we're to become a better nation that we are. This whole "fuck that other guy, he's not my problem" is ensuring that everyone falls into debt just to get a degree and dies long before paying their healthcare expenses.
