Let me just say, I don’t want to hear anymore bullshit about “ask yourself what you’re doing to attract such shitty men.” Stop blaming good women for trying to see the good in the people they come across and being a little naive and unfortunately uneducated in how to deal with scrotes. Terrible men just happen to be in high supply and have no fear of approaching women out of their league. I haven’t done shit but be an upstanding woman all my life and LVM shouldn’t be my penance to pay for that. A light bulb doesn’t do anything to attract moths but shine. FOH.

Edit: Appreciate the silver kind stranger 🤗 it’s my first!

Since I’m editing for thanks, let me take the opportunity to just confirm: I’m not talking about ignoring red flags. We all have to come to terms with the way we’ve done that and the way to prevent doing it going forward.

What I’m saying here, is there is a nuanced situation out in the ether that blames victimized women for having been victimized. That says if you were somehow a better woman, better men would see that in you and the quality of what comes your way would change for the better. That if you do better, LVM won’t dare bother you. They’ll see “dat glow” on you and look for a pickmeisha instead. THAT. IS. BIGGITY BULLSHIT. By nature of being a LVM, they will come at you NO MATTER WHAT YOU ARE OR PROJECT because who you are is irrelevant to a LVM. This is just LVM tings. THEY need to do better. I want my sisters to stop blaming themselves or asking themselves what new haircut or degree or social circle or income bracket they need to pursue to finally have Prince Charming smell them from miles away and come running. IT DOESN’T WORK LIKE THAT.

Be you, be well, be thoughtful and careful, be your best self for your self. Peace be with you ✌🏾
