I have a similar story. I’m 47 and own my own home with no mortgage. My ex bf is 50 and has a mortgage payment Of $1500/month. We were talking about lining together me moving to his place. I was planning to keep my place and rent it out for $2000/month. The costs of my place ins tax and hoa are $500/month. So he wanted me to pay $1500/month “rent” to live with him. Lol. I rejected that and dumped him.

This is what we call “financial abuse.” This is the kind of guy who will pressure her into splitting everything down to the damn penny, combined with expecting her to do the domestic work in order to show her gratitude for his “nice” $1800 apartment.

Is he really trying to claim that her showering at his place in the morning has led to a $400 increase in his utilities? I mean does he live in the Northeast and not use the heater unless she stays over? I love how he claims to love this person he just tried to cheat. Anyway he's almost 30 he should be throwing himself on the ground like a rug to be walked over for the youth and sex of a 22 year old. What do you want to bet she cleans and cooks for him while she stays with him too?

How can he claim to love her and then try to cheat her? Make it make sense. The logic of LVM is so confusing. This is the reason why we shouldn’t disclose our financial situation to these men who are trying to rip off their loved ones.
