so i wasn't gonna do an update about the situation, thinking i'd just Google his Dad's name and come across an obituary (it's been 9 days since his supposed death), but nothing has been posted. i don't have my ex on SM anymore, but i do know the Insta handle of his live-in girlfriend of 3 years. she's on vacation right now with her sister looking happy as a clam. judging by her pictures, she left the continent within 48 hours of her boyfriend's dad's death.
