Last Sunday (Feb 9) I went back on Bumble. I matched with all 9 men I swiped right on. Out of the 9 matches four starting interacting with decent conversation, five were lackluster and I unmatched with them within 24 hours. I had very nice phone conversations with three of the 4 remaining guys. Each of the men kept in contact. One lives about 1.5 hours away but comes to town often and said he wanted to take me out next time he comes here. One had just moved to town and took me on a very nice date Thursday evening. One said he wanted to do something this weekend, he is in the Airforce reserve and was on duty last weekend and has his son during the week, and the fourth said he wanted to take me out but he just had surgery of his foot and was in a cast.

I was well aware that Valentines Day was coming up and wanted to see how they would handle it. Now I'm not in a relationship with any of these men, but would they even acknowledge the day?

The only one who even texted me on VD was the one I went on a date with, but he did not mention the occasion. The other three went radio silent on Friday despite having messaged or called me multiple times daily prior to that. Oh, but they were back to texting me Saturday. Needless to say I did not respond.

This morning I unmatched, blocked and deleted all of them. They are ALL LVM.

The one I went on the date with was great until he walked me to my car at the end of the evening and told me that he had an extra set of clothes with him. I just gave him a confused look and said "Why do I need to know that?" He stammered and replied something to the effect of always being prepared. Yeah, right dude.

Ladies, do not waste your time puzzling over his behavior or waiting for him to plan dates. Have a firm deadline in your mind for a man to act and if he doesn't - move on. Also, if a man cannot even casually acknowledge Valentines Day at the time he is supposedly actively pursuing you he is NOT serious or interested. If a man even hints at having sex with you on a first date he is also a LVM.
