These guys think we’re like them. This Sub is helping me weed through garbage so I don’t have to date 3 or 4 guys at the same time. Definitely not a femcel. I’m looking for quality over quantity that’s what they don’t understand I can get laid any time I leave the house. I’m 41 by the way so definitely haven’t “hit the wall”. Meanwhile I have to date guys way younger because my aging gracefully male peers can barely walk at 42.

I dated a lot when I was younger but have been in semi long term relationships since then. All of which I've had to terminate when I realised the men were selfish takers who were never going to be in the right place to give love generously and help to support me as I supported them.

Former femcel here though I don't feel removed from the femcel community in any way. Those are my people. This sub isn't about femcels and its just weird to see people throw that out there. Women are half the population. Why wouldn't half the population have an interest in the female pov of dating and mating? You have to consider the poor thinking skills of people who would conflate the femcel community with this one, a subreddit designed for ruthlessly strategic female geared protocols for sex, dating, and long term relationships. People here are single, dating, married, and fucking. The femcel community simply isn't. I want femcels to read here and to leverage anything they might have to safely navigating the opposite sex without getting used and abused. I want them to find quality mates.

The name calling is typical and it is just the same shit we get over at the femcel subs. A great deal of men find female thinking and discussion fundamentally offensive. They casually read dumpster fires like TRP and MGTOW then unironically call for reddit to ban this place for the great crime of wanting classic dates with decent men and avoiding pump and dumps.

They're calling FDS an incel sub because this is an insult which is effective at hurting women. They basically want to hurt our feelings :/

Definitely not an incel, my photofeeler scores are 9.2 - 9.5 in the "attractiveness" category, as ranked by men. I've been engaged twice and have had a bunch of boyfriends and never been dumped either :/ . I've ALWAYS been the initiator of breakups. Never been dumped. Again, they're calling us femcels because "you're ugly" is an insult to most women and really drags at a girl's self-esteem. Which brings us back to the #1 Male dating strategy: Negging & nitpicking at women's insecurities. They're doing it en masse to this sub, and brigading and downvoting our posts because they want to insult us and trigger our insecurities. Just ignore them. Report / block any moids you see.

I have several men in my life. None of them are committed to me (because they can’t commit to anyone) but I wouldn’t want that anyway. They aren’t seeing anyone else, I know that much. I’m a single mom and have to put my kids first. They are older now so I’m more willing to get more serious with someone IF I found the right someone. I have sex with men and probably a few of them might recognize me from this sub haha! Not at all a femcel but sex isn’t a huge deal to me, I am just very attracted to male energy and the attention they give me. I could date way more than I do, I just don’t feel super comfortable with dating much at this moment in my life. I do want to though, down the road. I already know all these guys so it’s not really dating. They just take me out because they enjoy being with me. It’s not a means to an end.

Meanwhile I’m content with my lovers who I’m pretty sure all know they are not the only ones. It works because none of us are really wanting a full-on commitment. I mean maybe they fantasize about it but we both know they aren’t really capable of it. Yeah I attract huge commitment-phobes - took me awhile to realize it’s because I am one myself. I would like to change that someday as I did enjoy being married and would love to share my life with someone. For now my odd life works. I am taken care of by these men in various ways or I wouldn’t be giving them my time. They take me out, buy me things, give me money. Some men are really fun and giving but just can’t commit and yet fall in love with you. Someone here said something about four quarters making a dollar. That sums up my romantic life 😂. They each give me a little something.

There is one I love more than the others but he’s got a lot of issues. Tried to discard him but he keeps coming back. Now I’m in control though and he’s on his best behavior and I’m keeping him at arms length and letting him woo me. It’s pretty fun to be honest, once you get past how weird men are and accept their long periods of silence. If I feel lonely I just call or text one of the other guys. None of them care too much that I have other men. At least not in our current arrangement. Things are just weird out there anymore. Gotta roll with it.

I am voluntarily celibate because I don't need men at all in my life. I can make my own money, men aren't good at emotional support like women are, and I can survive without sex. What other reason do I have to interact with them?

Non femcel here. I've never posted here but have gotten a lot of great advice.

I was led here after having had enough of an abusive codependent relationship and finally leaving the creep. I'm currently building myself back up from total self esteem bankruptcy and this take no bullshit about what you want, what your worth is and what your boundaries are is exactly what I need to hear before I get back out there. I've done online dating before and I've been chewed up and spit out. I've settled for far less than what I put in and I'm simply tired of it. It's not wrong to assert your self worth. I want a worthy partner. A partner that will invest in our mutually shared future. It sucks that I apparently need to learn dating strategies to ensure that my next long term relationship is respectful and reciprocal but this is the world be live in. Don't ask us to be apologetic about not wanting to be preyed upon, abused and used up.

I just keep dating the wrong ones (because there are so many of those). I'll be single awhile, meet someone, fall in love, realize he has zero to offer me except frustration, and then I dump him or he ghosts me before I can lol.

The last one turned out abusive. My first. We lasted 1.5 years and he stopped being charming around the three month mark. Several breakups initiated by me, but I always went back.

So I took a year off dating. I went on one date and he was just as bad as the others even though he started out great (fake). So I haven't felt like trying to meet anyone since then and that was back in June.

My standards are super high now. I'm very content alone. Only the right one will do.

I'm far from being a femcel and I assume everyone here is in the same situation. I even thought femcels weren't welcome at all (please correct me if I'm wrong, but I got that idea from a comment I saw in a post a while ago)
