Apologies to the mods in advance, not sure exactly where to post this.

So...I’ve always been attracted to older men. When younger guys expressed interest, I just brushed them off like cute puppies. Amusing and adorable, perhaps, but not something I wanted to seriously entertain the thought having of a relationship with or want to “train”, if you will.

Since recently turned 35, I’m finding older men less appealing, especially with all their entitlement issues that we routinely discuss here (and yes-less attractive in the physical sense).

A very confident, clean cut, gentlemanly well-dressed 27-year-old professional has recently approached me and has me seriously considering changing my tune.

But this is completely foreign territory for me. I cringe at the term “cougar” and honestly, the age-gap makes me feel a little insecure. I don’t want to feel like the “Queen Mum” in this situation.

So, ladies who do date younger, any advice on overcoming this? I could really use some support here and would love to hear your own experiences.

EDIT: You ladies have given me a lot to think about. I’ve been watching Susan Winter on YouTube, who is very pro “Dating Younger”, but the differences in life experiences gives me pause. I’ve made references to things that younger male friends weren’t familiar with and that’s always frustrating. I never had this problem dating older, because I’m an old soul and have had a lifelong interest in history, old cinema, etc.

I’m also concerned with an age group that has quite literally grown up with porn, so I really do not like that aspect.

Maybe younger guys are just not for me and my initial misgivings were/are right.
