Before FDS, I used Bumble because I was told the men were more serious than on Tinder. Not only did I instinctively despise messaging first, but it was literally full of the same men from tinder; I encountered several who had profiles on multiple dating apps, and truthfully it was an all around gross experience.

Lmao. I got “picked” on Bumble by a guy I knew IRL but only had the balls to ask me out after we matched on a dating app and I messaged him first. No, it did not go well, it was a train wreck.

Bumble only works if you act a bit of an arsehole, and try to keep the spirit of ‘this is an extra filter system for women’ which is its intended purpose. Weeds them out. You shouldn’t be putting in the effort.
I wasn’t OLD for long, but a wonderful relationship came from me treating my Bumble matches like it was a job interview. (Which it basically is)

In my area, Bumble is for the creeps with masters degrees; the rest stick to tinder. OLD is trash no matter the app 🤗

Deleted bumble yesterday after having a guy I matched with reply to my initial message “fuck off sketty Betty” - who did these scrotes think they are? Instantly blocked and reported.. online dating is awful!

LOl, I was FDS identified way before there was an official FDS. My mates know not to mention that abomination of a thirst trap to me! It is a BEACON for pick me's, lib fems, HELL NAW.

I do hate this about Bumble BUT, I was previously on match.com and that app lets ANYONE message you, whether you have liked one another or not. So as a result, I had hundreds of messages from men entirely outside my parameters (many of which were inappropriate). We are talking men 15 years older and younger and many of them didn’t even live in the same state! Don’t even get me started on their lack of communication abilities.
At least with Bumble you both have to match first and I’ve found the men a lot less creepy than match. There are multiple filters (my favorite being education).
So with the exception of that first message, it’s the best of the bunch I’ve found. I’d be curious to hear about other sites as well!

Agree. IME, Bumble was significantly better than the other apps. I don't want ro be bombarded by nasty messages sent at 2am. Match was the worst.

I had the same experience on match! Hated it. I did not want to get on tinder either. Though I don’t love messaging first, I did love I had more control on who I messaged and did not feel bombarded. I even paid premium on bumble so I just picked who had already swiped on me and got rid of the ones I did not like in my queue.

I was mega selective on bumble and the first time i had it, i had no confidence to reply- and then when i gained it- i made a bumble and had 0 confidence issues - that in itself was nice- and the filtering features are cool

I used bumble once like years ago, and had no luck. So I stuck to tinder and okc, and waited for men to message me. Still no luck lmao, but like, fuck messaging them first. Lazy asses.
