I don't understand why there are so many AITA posts where a man throws out or gives away his partner's items without her permission: makeup, shoes, skincare products, Mason jars...

I've never read a woman post anything like that. My ex has so much fucking shit in our house, yet I would have never thrown anything out without asking. Even the stuff I knew he wanted to get rid of, I wouldn't touch since it was his responsibility to do it.

I hope he buys her new shoes to replace the ones he stole from her. The cousin should give him the money she got from selling them.

If he doesn't have the money, he should sell everything he (individually) owns of value. Gaming console, giant TV, expensive computer, whatever.

He probably won't do that though, so I hope she takes everything in the divorce.

Honestly reading that makes me want to dump my boyfriend and kill myself.

My crippled, atrophied grandma, and my exes mom (who was a total babe before chronic disability physically broke her), and a friend of my mom's (who was fighting breast cancer) are all women I know who have been treated like shit, or cheated on, or treated like a burden by their husband for their physical health issues.

I am so scared of having the same disability as my grandma. Her condition may have a genetic component but it is not known. I am so scared of health problems in general. I already have had chronic gastrointestinal illness since I was 11-12 years old.

Being with a man will make me suffer more through my illness. But I will still suffer.

This is why I went from being childfree to anti-natalist. Don't bring another person into this world to suffer.
