This entire question factors into the success dichotomy in the sexual marketplace that many people seem either unable or unwilling to understand.

These people seem to perpetually lack self-awareness to the point that I doubt they are actually able to function in society to any significant degree apart from being a corporate drone doing busy work, and even then only under strict supervision.
