The way i was brought up by my pick- me mother (who married the first man she met aka my father) was that i needed to get married as young as possible. I had this idea growing up that i HAD to be married by 21 or i was worth nothing. I HATE that people tell young girls lies. Marriage can be fun and a true partnership if you are with someone who is as high value as yourself. Now in almost 30 and still not married but honestly, im much happier than if i had married my NV-ex

The funny and weird thing is though - you see this with your own two eyes every single day. Neglectful, lazy, manchild, insensitive, misogynist, rude, angry, and just outright horribly abusive men treating their wives like literal trash - those are not isolated cases, those are the norm. Hell, even boyfriends treat their girlfriends like shit and they are still in the wooing stage!

Yet many pickmes still taunt marriage and relationship as the ultimate womanhood goal, calling you who reject the idea as "something must be wrong with you" abnormalities. Even from the same pickme that just minute before, complaining about being exhausted from working at work and then come back for her "second shift" at home.

I asked them, what's so great about having a boyfriend, and the best they can offer is - someone to accompany you eating out or shopping and I am like??? You can just do the damn thing yourself????

The brainwashing is scary, like they literally can't see the truth in front of their eyes even when they got repeatedly punched in the face by it.

Traditional marriage is pretty much a legalized acquisition of a slave by a man. That's why men hate so much that modern women are steering away from this concept.

I still believe there's a value in marriage from a legal standpoint compared to domestic partnership when there are children involved but, as a whole, it is a pretty shitty invention that benefits one gender and puts another into a servitude.

God this is so true. Little boys don't need to be brainwashed into accepting the idea of marriage with religion, disney movies, baby dolls, toy ovens, and "insults" like crazy cat lady and spinster. Because it's completely clear the ways marriage benefits men. A replacement mommy who you also get to fuck whenever you like, who will raise your children for you? It's obviously a great deal for men.

Us on the other hand.. Patriarchy gets to work when we're straight out of the womb, trying to make us believe marriage is a great deal for us because there's no way we'd come to that conclusion on our own. Hell, they try to convince us marriage is something we should BEG men for. Lmao.
