I've been on about relevant events for the past ten years or so. Theres been a massive push to bring paedophiles into the light as people with issues like lgbqtbfsghw+- or capa-disabilitys not criminals. Also large pushes have been made to lower the legal age to 14 instead of 16 in multiple European countries and UK, though failed at present, its due to come back up. If it succeeded we would have a serious problem. The main reason behind this is that at present, with the age at 16 we don't prosecute for statutory rape of a minor unless under 14, due to girls aging at different rates. Should the Legal limit then be lowered to 14, it would mean the charge age of statutory rape of a minor drops to 12. What's to stop it happening again as the social climate gradually changes into acceptability. Paedophilia in gradual steps.
