A famous artist gave me a rose on hinge and I swiped left. He seems like a good person in his interviews and he's good friends with a pick-me friend of mine but something about his profile didn't sit well with me.

All of his photos were pictures with famous people, awards he's won, him working in studio, articles written about him, etc. and all of his prompts were about his art and his fame. There was no indication of him wanting a girlfriend, a long term relationship, or a family. Also, my pick me friend is always boasting about how he has a crush on her. She has a major femme fatale/libfem thing going on, and I couldn't help but think about her becoming a problem in my (imagined) future relationship with the artist.

Last, and certainly not least, I am not attracted to him. Fds has taught me that dating someone you're not attracted to is usually the first misstep you can make while dating, but I'm so used to dating men I'm not attracted to that I'm starting to feel some regret here. I'm majorly second guessing myself.

Maybe the attraction could have grown? Maybe I should have given him a chance? My pick me friend says he's the sweetest guy ever. Ugh.. but I know I have to follow fds religiously if I want to find an hvm. Nice + Famous does not equal hvm. Maybe these growing pains are a good sign that I'm leveling up.
