Becase of course they were.

There's so much pro-female government corruption it's laughable and yet men continue to do nothing about it.

[–]SweatyAdvance 24 points25 points26 points 5 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

What do you do though? If you are a man in the government how do you speak out about this kind of stuff without being called a sexist, misogynist, or other type of shaming word and risk losing your position?

Every person that stands up makes it easier for the next one.

[–]DebSheep 8 points9 points10 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Yeah, so we continue the cycle of losing our jobs and suffering so eventually some future person eventually wins? I guess that’s how the world works, but it doesn’t make it any fairer.

You organize, or you look up organizations that are already in place local to you and you contribute. Change will require pain, no doubt.

Selling out the safety of citizens to satisfy a class ideological agenda is corrupt from beginning to end.

The report found that if various discriminatory practices had not been implemented, an estimated 200 more meritorious male applicants would have been successful in their attempt to join the QPS.

So it's true that it happens.

I don't get it. They put in quotas for women & then discover that there has been discrimination against men? Do they not understand how quotas work?

[–][deleted] 11 points12 points13 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

They don't want to understand

[–]vwatchrepair 8 points9 points10 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

They've convinced themselves that men can't be victims of it. Just like the wokesters believe white people can't be victims of racism. That's how they justify the things they do too.

[–]Vman2 0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

rnm

The claim is that it was not a declared quota. It was just an unwritten rule some feminists implemented secretly. In reality no doubt it was a verbal directive from the female commissioner and when they got caught she threw a few minions under the bus.

[–]TheEthnicityOfASpoon 33 points34 points35 points 5 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

CCC chair Alan MacSporran said no adverse inference should be drawn against the women recruited under this "flawed" policy.

"They, in some respects, in many respects in fact, are the innocent victims of the way this policy was sought to be implemented," he said

Translation: Men were discriminated against and we’re denied jobs that will rightfully theirs: but the woman are the real victims. 🤡🔫

[–]dukunt 11 points12 points13 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Exactly how are they ( The women that were unfairly hired) the victims? That's one hell of a stretch guy is making.

Right now that's are frantically searching for a man to throw (figuratively) under the bus for this one...

It's a clown world🤦‍♀️

[–]mikesteane 8 points9 points10 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

So we've gone from the occasional problem of a dishonest copper in the ranks to a system which is dishonest from the top down. Well done ideologues!

[–]HPUnicorn 8 points9 points10 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I Like how they stress that all the women who would not have been chosen did meet the criteria to pass the course BUT having seen this in action in Canada in the forces, I can tell you that it was likely that these women were 'pushed' thru the course.

[–]rbrockway 6 points7 points8 points 5 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

"In total, what we have found to date is six women out of 578 who were recruited into the QPS during this period were subject to the findings of the report," she said.

6

The report found that if various discriminatory practices had not been implemented, an estimated 200 more meritorious male applicants would have been successful in their attempt to join the QPS.

200

What happened to the 194 other places?

[–]CheaperThanChups 9 points10 points11 points 5 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

They are saying two separate things:

  1. That there were 6 female officers hired who did not meet the minimum standards.

  2. That 200 male applicants were not offered positions despite being more suitable/having more merit. It doesn't mean that the 200 females who got those spots didn't meet the minimum, just that they weren't as competitive as the males but were hired anyway.

[–]rbrockway 0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Thanks. I realised that a bit later, while I was on a live recording. :)

And thus I'd say that 200 is the more important number.

[–]Panderjit_SinghVV 4 points5 points6 points 5 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link

Is that prohibited in some way in Australia? I assume so since there wouldn’t have been an investigation otherwise.

It’s perfectly legal in Canada to discriminate against men on the basis of sex. Only females have a constitutional right to be free from sex discrimination.

[–]HPUnicorn 5 points6 points7 points 5 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

In Canada there are 4 protected groups

1) Women

2) Indigenous people.

3) People with Disabilities

4) Visible Minorities.

AND it is in our constitution that is legal to discriminate in favour of those 4 groups.

[–]goronslime 3 points4 points5 points 5 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Literally everyone who isn’t a man then?

[–]HPUnicorn 2 points3 points4 points 5 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

exactly. It's intersectional feminism at its worst.

[–]goronslime 3 points4 points5 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I can’t believe I’m saying this but Canada is coming off of my list of countries to move to post college

[–]Vman2 1 point2 points3 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I am not sure but what seems to happen is that 1. this is illegal. So the organisations goes to the Human Rights Council and says they want to directly contradict the law based on gender. The Human Rights Council, says it is men so its open season guys. So then the organisation is already set to have a good case if it ever got to court.

[–]Bropil 4 points5 points6 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I think hirement should be done based on curriculums without photo, gender, race or creed, that way every employee would be hired only based on important characteristics.

[–]rbrockway 1 point2 points3 points 5 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Here is the report from the Crime and Corruption Commission.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

very much thanks so aaaah.

[–]Vman2 1 point2 points3 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

About 3 people were made scape goats and had "disciplinary action". They were not named and we know that "disciplinary action" translates into 'nothing happened'. At the very most they got called into a meeting where they talk about how they were really doing the right thing but it will not look good so let's make up a press release. Imagine what would happen if the sexes were reversed.

[–]makosh22 1 point2 points3 points 5 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Well, you can fill "demanded" gender\race\whatever gaps ... But... what about performance? Will your citizens be happy when they call police, police arrive... and a criminal beat up a police female and add some more heat to the victim for calling the police? Just asking...

[–]omidoggo 0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

lol

[–]MRRamming 0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Wow what shocking news I said sarcastically

[–]idreamofdeathsquads 0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

good. putting weak, unqualified people in dangerous situations can only serve to end this charade faster

[–]Vman2 0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

As a Queenslander I now have zero trust in any female police officer. How could I?
