Why the fuck would they refer to the child as 'lover'

[–]kt0me 511 points512 points513 points 5 years ago (8 children) | Copy Link

Because the perpetrator is a woman. Here's the male headline -

"Pedophile brutally raped innocent child over multiple years"

[–]Bill_Murray_BlowBang 176 points177 points178 points 5 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

So pussy pass not denied?

Most of the posts in this sub actually pussy pass.

Ya, I've noticed.

When it is a post where it's denied the post suddenly gets comments about it being a sexist/woman hating sub. Can't win for losing.

Wish in one hand and shit in the other I guess.

[–]stratosfearinggas 16 points17 points18 points 5 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

In the article it says she was charged with rape, so they don't have a problem using that word in the context with a woman. They could have said ' "Woman charged with rape" with minor' .

[–]Doofchook 10 points11 points12 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I think courts are fine with saying rape but not the media.

[–]Hovie1 34 points35 points36 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Could you imagine if any publication called a man's underage victim his "lover"? Jesus christ they'd go under by the end of the week. Such a disgusting double standard.

[–]Iamlegend_future 926 points927 points928 points 5 years ago (58 children) | Copy Link

Lengthy sexual relationship? You mean "the repeated raping of a child".

[+]PapaElonMusk-23 points 5 years ago* [recovered] (18 children) | Copy Link

Somehow they’re still better than an atheist that doesn’t rape kids because an atheist has no moral compass /s

Edit: there has been no replies of substance but there has been downvotes. It seems you all are triggered because you feel bad but can't explain why in a logical sense. I honestly welcome all replies.

[–]ShortWarrior 9 points10 points11 points 5 years ago (12 children) | Copy Link

Even if your comment didn't have that typo, that's still one hell of a conclusion to jump to.

[+]PapaElonMusk-11 points 5 years ago [recovered] (11 children) | Copy Link

Not really a "hell of a conclusion" to come to. It is really easy to follow, and I fixed the auto correct that I didn't see. Here is the logic that it follows:

1.) Christian

2.) If you don't believe in Christ, you will go to hell.

3.) Sort of a part of number 2: salvation from hell is based on faith, not works. So faith is paramount. No matter what "works" you have done, it wont get you into heaven, in the Christian mind

4.) God is the originator of a Christian's moral compass. They generally claim you cant have an objective moral compass without god.

5.) An atheist is, by definition, "without god", whatever god that may be. So given that, they will go to hell in the Christian belief system...which is what this post is regarding.

A Christian that rapes kids can still get into heaven. An atheist that doesn't rape kids, and one that campaigns their whole life for stopping child abuse, will still go to hell (as Christians claim in their belief system) because they dont have "faith" in Christ.

Given the sound logic above, how is that "one hell of a conclusion" to come to when it follows exactly the Christian logic? I know it doesn't feel good but I invite anyone to show how that logical flow is incorrect.

[–]ShortWarrior 4 points5 points6 points 5 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

I tip my fedora in your general direction, good sir.

[–]keephopealive7 0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link

Your 3rd point is oversimplified and doesnt do the doctrine justice, faith without works is dead, by your fruits ye shall know them, not all who call upon Him will be saved.

[–]PapaElonMusk1 points 5 years ago [recovered] (5 children) | Copy Link

faith without works is dead

You havent been to the churches that I have been to lately. This is very much alive in churches and they all believe that god condones this.

[–]keephopealive7 0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

Well thats what the bible says, if someone doesnt follow the teachings of christianity theyre not a christian, right?

[–][deleted] 5 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

[permanently deleted]

[–]keephopealive7 0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

It has nothing to do with interpretation, thats literally what it says, its just american christianity that preaches what you say. Because americans are too lazy to read the book. You cannot be born again and Spirit filled while still being a sinner, thats purely an american ideology that has no basis in scripture.

What I said follows exactly what Christians believe but since it makes them feel bad they downvote without explaining why, because they can’t.

Only a small part of christians do.

[–]PapaElonMusk-1 points 5 years ago [recovered] (1 child) | Copy Link

Only a small part of Christians believe that faith is more important to god than works is? That is complete BS. I know from experience. Even if it were true, it would show a divide in the church that leads to different conclusions; both sides thinking they are right.

[–]ukuuku7 2 points3 points4 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I know from experience

Can you explain?

both sides thinking they are right.

That's how it is with most things. Religion, politics, even taste in music.

[–]ThanantosMD 46 points47 points48 points 5 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link

Arkansas authorities have charged Kisha Lynn Clayton, 36, with five counts of raping the minor she allegedly abused over an extended period of time.

Does not appear to be the case this time.

[–]xXrirooXx 28 points29 points30 points 5 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Its the idea that even though she was charged with rape she will absolutely be given a lighter prison sentence, if any at all, than a male counterpart.

Sure she's being charged with rape, but will she actually be given full punishment for such. Given recent history, its highly unlikely.

[–]ThanantosMD 21 points22 points23 points 5 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Clayton was able to get out of jail on a $150,000 bond

Highly unlikely.

[–]xXrirooXx 1 point2 points3 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Bond doesn't keep you out of prison long term... it just allows you to avoid sitting in a jail before the trial. If your charged with a crime paying bond doesn't mean shit for you.

When she gets off with a much lesser charge than a male or black counterpart, she'll sit in jail like any normal person, but the punishment will almost never be as harsh for her as it would be for a male or black counterpart.

[–]Ctotheg 5 points6 points7 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

In Arkansas, no less. I would have expected that to be the very state with archaic “woman can’t rape”laws. As the other poster states though, the proof is in the pudding - the punishment will probably be far less than if it were a male suspect.

[–]Iamlegend_future 0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

That's statutory rape. Fortunately the way those laws were written it doesn't care about the sex of the victim. Although their tends to be massive leniency if the victim is a boy and the perp is a woman. However, until recently in the US a woman couldn't be charged with raping a man unless she penetrated him. So a woman could drug a guy, have sex with him, get pregnant, sue for child support, win, and not get a rape charge. She could get other charges but not rape. The even worse part is if that guy didn't pay he'd be the one going to jail.

[–]MyNameIsChrisHansen8 30 points31 points32 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I mean you put an /s but that’s actually true based on the law in some places. It’s actually fucking disgraceful.

[–]lvxvl 111 points112 points113 points 5 years ago* (23 children) | Copy Link

You reminded me of the article where a woman raped a boy. They had a child and when boy hit 18 she took him to court and made him pay child support. Even worse, it looks like that's how it works now. I've read there were other cases the same thing happened. I've even stumbled on to an online post where a women jokingly (!) threaten to do it. Pretty sure it's written in court stone, I just never knew about it.

[–]killerkitten61 29 points30 points31 points 5 years ago (8 children) | Copy Link

Did you see when Mary Kay letourneau died? I didn’t read one article that labeled her the rapist she was

[–]lvxvl 17 points18 points19 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I didn't know who she was, but googled articles and read about it. Weird read. The part that wasn't written in comments below is..

"In 2017, Fualaau filed a petition for legal separation. Letourneau filed to have the petition dismissed, and People magazine reported in 2018 that they reconciled after splitting up. In 2019, their separation was finalized, according to People."

The article made seem like such a good person, then ended with that.

I wonder what Fualaau (the boy)had to say about her in 2017-18.

[–]RikerT_USS_Lolipop 12 points13 points14 points 5 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link

Hol up... Mary Kay Letourneau died?

[–]killerkitten61 18 points19 points20 points 5 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link

Yes, finally in July of 2020. I hope her victim is living his best life with their children. It was on the today show and various news stations, you would have thought someone decent passed away by the way they talked about her.

[–]vnza 20 points21 points22 points 5 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

I saw in interview with both her and her victim a few years ago. He was a shell; he seemed so empty and lost while she sat beside him, silently controlling each word and movement he made. She basically forced him to say that he was the one who perused her and that it was him who wanted it. It’s sad that his youth was stolen from him and they went on to have children. I hope he can find peace now.

[–]killerkitten61 9 points10 points11 points 5 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

I also feel terrible for the husband, and children she left. To rape and start a new family with a child.

[–]vnza 14 points15 points16 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

It’s a really twisted situation over all; she started raping vili when he was a 6th grader and by the time he was 15, she had been pregnant twice. She also left her first family, where I think she had 4 children. She is a monster that was able to marry her child victim; how was that possible? I know her dad or something is a judge and after serving time in person when had a nice comfortable court house job.

[–]JD26945 points 5 years ago* [recovered] (1 child) | Copy Link

Didn't she marry one of her rape victims?

[–]killerkitten61 2 points3 points4 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

She did

[–]danelli_ballin 10 points11 points12 points 5 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link

Can men choose to waive all their rights to avoid child support? Like could a woman actually 100% force a man to pay? Even in a rape scenario? I'm actually asking.

[–]lvxvl 14 points15 points16 points 5 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

You must be very young to ask that. No, absolutely not. Every 10 years there's a wave of new divorce laws that work greatly for the mother and greatly against the father. Now no ration man would get married because of how the laws are set up now.

A man can't even help a single mother without risk of her taking him to court and forcing him to pay child support. All she has to do is show he was taking on a caring role for her child.

[–]danelli_ballin 8 points9 points10 points 5 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

Not that young, I'm in college. I just literally didn't know, because I feel like I've heard all kinds of conflicting things in the past.

That's seriously fucked up though. A man helps with his girlfriend's kid and suddenly she can make him pay child support? That's fucking stupid and unfair, coming from a woman.

Like, what happens if they're just dating? Does that count as being a dad now? Where is the line drawn? You shouldn't be forced to pay for a kid that isn't even yours.

I saw a screenshot the other day where a woman posted a question online asking something like, "my neighbor helped me with something the other day, do you think I could take him to court for child support since he showed a fatherly role?". I really had no idea how close to the truth that was.

I don't know, every time I learn something new about this stuff I seem to be shocked by how biased things are. Like, if it was the other way around, feminists would be screaming in the streets.

[–]lvxvl 5 points6 points7 points 5 years ago* (2 children) | Copy Link

They don't have to be dating. As long as she can prove he was helping take care of the kid (or just claim without the man having strong proof of the opposite, is how it often how things do down in court, general speaking).

This is just one f'd up law. There is a waterfall of them. Apparently, things are so bad you see some push back in courts now. Women are getting canned for trying antics. But it's just a dent so far.

Outside the law, judges, lawyers, and everyone else are slanted to give women free passes.

That's why it's getting so contentious to get married. The thing is men figure this out when they are in their late 20s, 30s, or even 40s so a lot of bad marriages happen before they know. The average mariage lasts 5 years, then the woman takes everything, including the kid, half the property and money, plus child support and alimony.

[–]danelli_ballin 4 points5 points6 points 5 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

That's actually fucked, like mega fucked. How does something like this even happen in a modern country? Looks like I have a rabit hole to google my way down today.

Like, I knew that divorce and child support laws had always been slanted towards women, but I didn't know it was that bad. I'm not even a man and I'm getting frustrated just thinking about it. Like, that's some very clear gender bias bullshit.

[–]lvxvl 5 points6 points7 points 5 years ago* (0 children) | Copy Link

I don't really approve of r/mensrights (if it's still there). To me they just point out all the bad things against men and never actually live out their lives to any extent. But if you want to go down a rabbit hole of what men are subjected to, there's a trove there. Of course it will be told to you by very bitter, broken down and/or angry men. Most who have gone through an aspect of it.

It's ugly stuff.

edit: I'm not sure if r/mensrights is a good place to go. I looked at it 5 years ago for about a month. I don't know what they do now. When I saw it it was very revealing, yet everyone was very bitter.

r/FemaleSexPredatorInfo/

[–]glodone 16 points17 points18 points 5 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Its probably more or less like a loophole than written into court stone

[–]1Deerintheheadlights 6 points7 points8 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Probably the same line as a male rapist having parental visitation rights if the victim carried the baby to term.

The courts focus on the child’s interest rather then justice for all involved.

[–]dethmaul 2 points3 points4 points 5 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

If that happens, the state needs to pay child support, and then when the child turns 18 sue the mother for the ill-gotten funds back.

We CAN'T keep punishing innocent children that get raped for 18 years of payments. If a child cannot consent, then the baby they make can't be theirs. Oh, but the best interest of the child is at stake? Then the state can pay for it. The state can pay for the upbringing, then get the money back from the mother later.

[–]FSOexpo 1 point2 points3 points 5 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

I have some articles on this https://redd.it/elm0ch

[–]lvxvl 2 points3 points4 points 5 years ago* (2 children) | Copy Link

Jeez. I just started reading first article. didn't get more than one page and found these two things out:

Adult woman fucks 14 year old male. Hits him with child support when he was 20, that included Retro-Actively giving child support 6 years starting back when he was 14. So f'k'd up. So he's a rape victim as a minor and has to pay child support as a minor, but he makes no money so he has to give adult level$$ child support after becoming an adult. Now, at 20 he has this huge debt to pay.

note: In the 3rd article same thing. kid paid retroactively even though it was legally rape.

That's how it works now, made in stone from the 1993 ruling.

Despite the recent att ention this issue is receiving, this is not a new phenomenon. Cases dating back to 1961 have addressed the issue of how to handle child support liability when the father is the victim of statutory rape.

edit1:

I read about half the first one, here's a snippet from the second one:

In 1993, the Kansas Supreme Court rejected an appeal by Seyer that he was not liable to pay for child support.[3] The court held that the admitted facts established that, because being under 16 he had been legally unable to consent to sex, a crime against him had been committed under statutory rape law, but that Seyer had actually given consent to the acts under civil law).[2][7] The court ruled that "at no time did Shane register any complaint to his parents about the sexual liaison with Colleen".[2] The court also ruled that a mother's potential culpability under criminal statutes was of no relevance in determining the father's child support liability in a civil action.[7][8] The court stated that the state's interest in ensuring that a minor receives child support outweighed its interest in potentially deterring sexual crimes against minors.[9]

The part that got me was this part:

The court ruled that "at no time did Shane register any complaint to his parents about the sexual liaison with Colleen"

So a boy must report immediately, but all the 1000s #metoo women can say whatever they want about what happened 20 years ago.

edit2: I'm burnt, not reading all of that. Hope you appreciated my fragments of insight.

[–]FSOexpo 2 points3 points4 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Thanks for taking the time to read some of it and for sharing your thoughts on child support by young males who were raped.

It's a contrast to all the jerks who think raping teen boys is all fun and games

and that boys have the easy life.

Headline says lengthy relationship but article does state rape so it's a small step in the right direction. They should have put rape in the headline but they may have used a quote from whomever they spoke with.

[–]xdoasx 2 points3 points4 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Weird they went with that title and then say " Arkansas authorities have charged Kisha Lynn Clayton, 36, with five counts of raping the minor she allegedly abused over an extended period of time." in the second paragraph. Should've used same wording in the title.

[–]YellowB 1 point2 points3 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

News reports these days are like:

"an inordinate amount of movement of the Earth around the sun having a non-non-mandatory emotional agreement with that of a human that is 1/100,000,000,000th of the age of the Earth."

Mother fucker, stop tip toeing and just call it for what it is. Rape.

[–]Spoon_Elemental 1 point2 points3 points 5 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

The term is still literally correct, and they call it rape in the article. "Relationship" is not a word that necessarily implies something positive. If you have a bully in school, that's still a relationship, it's just not a good one.

[–]Iamlegend_future -1 points0 points1 point 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Yes but calling it a relationship changes the connotation. Makes it sound not so bad. Like when they used to say "forbidden Love" and "affair". Technically trust but distances it from what it actually is. Imagine if they described a man raping a woman as "an unpleasant encounter"?

[–]drapehsnormak 1 point2 points3 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Pedophilic employee* at christian children's home arrested for repeatedly raping* a child.

As the title should read.

[–]Lui_Le_Diamond 0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Soooooooooo repeated rape?

[–]UselessIdiot6725 0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

How old was the child? Usually they say "teen," which doesn't make it much better, but at the very least, a teen has an idea what sex is and why it would be wrong to sleep with this woman (besides the obvious). My guess is this child was under that age.

[–]morlansictorrent 0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Fuck that bitch... How can you continue doing that and think it's ok...?

[–]BadgersAreNice 0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

This is so disheartening.

The fact that a female paedophile gets featured on pussypassdenied is just so disappointing. Rapists/paedophiles being rightfully convicted should not be considered a rare success but simply the law working as it should, equally.

The fact that she is considered just a ‘lover’ of the child by the author is equally disturbing.

[–]ElementalStarShadow 0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

It is out here because females often get the “pussy pass”. Getting away with shit thanks to there gender.

This sub is about them getting what is fair instead

[–]PhatonComander 0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Lovely how the word "pedophile" didn't make the headline, but "underage lover" did.

[–]AlpacaPowerrr -1 points0 points1 point 5 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

this sub has gone downhill by so much. This sub is meant for posts that showcase women who thought that they could get away with something specifically because they were a women, not just females that get arrested.

[–]hohenheim-of-light -1 points0 points1 point 5 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Gross, she's not hot, throw the book at her.

"Christian children's home" aka center for beating and rape

Orphans have it rough. No one can be trusted.

[–]Gimmeahighfive -1 points0 points1 point 5 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

How did she make bail though?

[–]Primus_the_Knave -1 points0 points1 point 5 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

The only reason to hold someone until their trial date is if you believe they won’t show. As long as they promise to be present the county won’t hold them (innocent until proven guilty + expensive incarceration).

[–]teerude 0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I doubt that's what they mean. Most likely means how did she afford bail, not what bail is

[–]ThicLord -1 points0 points1 point 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
