I feel like I need more info on industrial deaths and homicide victims. I mean... Wouldn't industrial environments be predominantly male, affecting the rates of death? And aren't most killers male as well? These are genuine questions, not trying to imply anything.

Re the earnings gap One thing to remember. Harder to do higher paying jobs don't pay more because they are male jobs. Its the opposite. Men go after these jobs because they pay more. Why do men do this? Because men are under pressure to earn more because income and potential future earnings rate much, much higher in the average woman's list of attractive qualities when choosing a life partner. Essentially if men found money as attractive as women do then a lot more women would go after harder to do higher paying jobs. Most men will happily date and marry a woman that earns substantially less than them or is even unemployed, whereas women simply won't date let alone marry such men under any circumstances. Men are hardwired to aggressively chase higher wages in exactly the same way that women aren't.

Let's be absolutely clear people. I did not make this fucking infographic. I saved it from a search engine. Yet, if these are facts then you kinda can't complain about the post itself. Is it true or not? Seems to me given all sources these are factual statements based on the available data of a point in time that was relatively close to now. If I could quit my job and just be a stay at home dad, I'd probably do it. I welcome the idea. Yet, I'm not so hopeful that it will happen. I've only seen it done on television.

The custody one is inaccurate, it’s much more common for custody to be split 50/50 now, and the figure includes outdated cases. It’s biased against men, but it used to be a lot worse.
