Reminds me that women can't seem to cope without being constantly validated and told how special they are. Men don't need that, though it's nice to get occasionally.
The whole "you're a Queen!" nonsense is the same sort of thing. Nope, sorry, you're not a queen, you're an infant who can barely get through the day even with all your 'sisters' telling you how super special you are.
No wonder they can't seem to ever fix their problems, but just complain about them.

Sexism against men is encouraged and not challenged openly online. I saw so many girls using "all men are trash" in facebook group postings. Men would have been banned from the group if they were just as sexist.

I think there is an issue with the “better than”. We are all worthy and yet for some reason the only way some people can feel that way is by bringing others down. Like with the overweight movement. There are many reasons why one can be overweight (medication side effects is one of them, genetics...) and you should be able to feel good about yourself because you are worthy. And then somewhere in there there started to be that movement of “real men want a whole meal not a bone” type of thing. So if a woman was skinny than she wasn’t worthy anymore. But it made the bigger girls feel better.

The language we use is also important. Like you can find examples of “better than” in this sub too. Like using Alpha and Beta. Or, by creating an othering. Taking a group of people and attributing them to something that makes them less than human. I’m a firm believer that most everyone has done this in some form. A good example is when people use the word “snowflake” to disprove someone else.

So the real issue is figuring out why we people do this. We are all worthy. You are worthy. We can be worthy without bringing others down.

From my experience, I've noticed that typically women use hashtags more than men do, so I'm guessing that has a bit to do with it. Also, as stated a couple of times in other comments women typically are quicker to go post things on social media, both validating/building up other women, and talking down at men (compared to the reverse, men talking up other men and talking down at women). I'd bet that if you look into some of those tags you'd find quite a lot of social media influencers trying to up-play their drama and middle/high school girls going through a break up/rejection, as well as probably some extreme feminists angry about whatever makes them mad in society
