What a warm and amazing example of a complete waste of carbon molecules on this planet

Yes, for sure. She’s an affront to sentience.

A garbage bag? How do you expect it to decompose? You're asking to get caught.

Serious flaw in her plan.

[–]Rarenut 25 points26 points27 points 7 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Also, dumping the kid in the middle of nowhere, not expecting anyone to notice.

Probably wrapped in a disposable diaper as well. Those things never decompose. What was she thinking?

Naw, anyone who cares that little for human life is definitely pro-abortion...just too stupid, cheap or lazy to get one.

She threw her son in a garbage bag and left him in the woods. Then wild animals came and ate him alive tearing him limb from limb. One of the animals drug his remains into a street which is how investigators even found out about it.

They are looking into the father. Because if there is a man connected to anything that a woman does wrong the authorities will always blame him.

Guaranteed, if he has anything at all to do with it even if he just knew about it his charge and or sentence will be longer than hers.

Guaranteed.

[–]QuarterPastJune1 points 7 years ago [recovered] (13 children) | Copy Link

Yeah, I agree with the person above you and how males routinely receive harsher sentences than females, even when the female played a more sinister role in the crime.

But you're right too, if you got someone pregnant, know they're pregnant for 9 months, and then all of a sudden they're not pregnant anymore and theres no baby and you don't say anything theres some crimes there too.

[–]StarkweatherRoadTrip"I cut my teddy bear a butthole and fucked it from 12-15" 13 points14 points15 points 7 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

I actually am a modern man and do not question a women's reproductive choices or even her situation. I just cut checks and keep my head down like I am told.

[–]gabwinone 0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

And that is why the world is going to hell. All the real men are gone...

[–][deleted] -1 points0 points1 point 7 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link

If she said she killed two kids I believe her.

Why would her husband knowingly kill two kids with her and then make more kids later?

He didn't know. If he did I guarantee you even being a complete piece of shit he'd do the deed himself rather than let her do it.

[–]QuarterPastJune1 points 7 years ago [recovered] (5 children) | Copy Link

That’s an extremely strange assumption. So you’re saying that she carried two pregnancies to term without her husband knowing, gave birth to both, and disposed of them?

[–][deleted] 3 points4 points5 points 7 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

If she's a fatty?

Yes.

Plenty of women give birth and don't even know they are pregnant. Their parents don't even know their pregnant. How does the people who have known her all her life not know she's pregnant?

She hides it from them.

That's probably what she did too. Hid the pregnancy and got rid of it when it was born.

[–]QuarterPastJune1 points 7 years ago [recovered] (2 children) | Copy Link

I think it’s a lot more likely that he was aware of everything, and they told people she miscarried. I guess we’ll see eventually. (Maybe)

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

That's another thing. If people knew she was having a baby then that's a lot of people who can corroborate the story.

If no one knew she was pregnant then that potentially exonerates the husband because if she could fool everyone else she could fool him too.

[–][deleted] -1 points0 points1 point 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

pretty big assumptions

[–][deleted] -1 points0 points1 point 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

this is not the first time a man has been unaware of a pregnancy and it wont be the last. to assume he was involved is stupid

[–]BiggestBossRickRoss 1 point2 points3 points 7 years ago (8 children) | Copy Link

Hijacking this comment to say how can ppl just throw away babies? I mean don’t they get social security numbers and are logged by government? Do ppl wonder why little baby just disappeared? You think someone would be like “hey you had a kid whatever happened to it?”

[–]Travbear1 points 7 years ago* [recovered] (1 child) | Copy Link

I'm gonna guess she didn't birth these kids in hospitals.

[–]Rarenut 0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

Part of the problem was that she tossed the kid in a rural town far off from where she lives, under the presumption that no one would know anything. But even then, you would think people would raise eyebrows at her being knocked up to full term and then nothing.

[–]BiggestBossRickRoss 0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Or when she’s not claiming her kid the government should know was born on her taxes. Or when little sally/Johnny doesn’t show up to school ever. All around weird situation you’d think anyone with a brain would notice

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points3 points 7 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

uhm..she didnt give birth in a hospital. these babies were left to die soon after birth

[–]Rarenut 1 point2 points3 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

yeah, the one was literally left in my hometown far away from where she lives, as soon as he was born.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

you can easily hide a pregnancy

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I doubt anyone knew she was pregnant. If she didn't go to a hospital then there would be no SS number let alone anyone to know the kid existed.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

The dude was totally alright with her killing his child. He's just as fucked up.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Then why did they have more children after that?

And what about the first child she had before they were together?

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Because they're both fucked up people.

Not sure about the other child. I thought the first one was his and they were unsure of the second.

[–]humanprogression -1 points0 points1 point 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Um, okay? Sounds like you have a chip on your shoulder...

[–]Snaggled-Sabre-Tooth -1 points0 points1 point 7 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link

She was currently married to him and they believe the second child was his. There is absolutely no reason they shouldn't be looking into him, because he had to have known something if he knocked her up one week and then right as she is about to pop there is no sign of a child at all. They said they don't know if the 1st baby was his or not, so even with the bullshit law giving women a pass, I doubt he would be getting longer than her. Most likely it is provable that it was her idea. Even before she had the second one.

[–][deleted] -1 points0 points1 point 7 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link

If you think they won't give him a longer sentence then why are you on pussypassdenied?

You clearly haven't been paying attention. Whenever a woman does something wrong they always try to find a man to blame. Always!

If he wasn't the father of the first kid then she did that on her own. If she did the first on her own then she could do the second on her own too. She clearly didn't need his help.

And as I said before, women can hide their pregnancies. Especially if they are already fat.

[–]Snaggled-Sabre-Tooth 0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

I'm on pussypassdenied because there are legitamate bullshit situations that other women think they can get away with, like hitting a man and not getting hit back, doing the exact wrong thing a man does and not getting punished as much, etc. I am here because I believe that women are still given a sexist pass in situations because they are seen as "loving and nurturing" but I am not here because I think men are some oppressed being squashed by society. I am realistic about the situations where women are given an advantage and for the most part what I see on this sub is men being sentenced fairly and women given an unfair lighter sentence under the same circumstances.

Realistically there is no way the father was as responsible as this woman, especially if she did the first one on her own, so he would not get as long of a sentence, unless he directly planned this shit with her and helped her both homosides.

However, that doesn't mean he shouldn't be investigated. Police are doing the right thing in not leaving him out as a suspect, just because he is a man does not mean he is fully responsible nor does it mean he is entirely exempt. If she hid the second one, fine. But we dont know if she did without talking to him. It is a very real possibility that he knew about the second murder and may have even assisted her, as real of a possibility it is that she lied to him about giving the child away or hiding it entirely.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

Fuck these women! I'm a mid 40's guy that never had a chance to be a father. My first wife turned out to be infertile but I stuck it out with her for 22 years only to have her cheat on me with a guy who had 2 young children. They're married now and living in another State. My gf now has leukemia and is too old for children anyways.
I'd fucking adopt an unwanted baby in a heartbeat! But here in the US addopting a baby is like winning the lottery and it costs over $10,000.
I hate women like this so much.
Pregnant? Please don't abort it. List me as the father and sign over your parental rights. You'll never have to see the child again and it will get a loving stable home.

This lady could have paid a doctor to throw this baby in a trash can and our society would have called her brave.

Abortion results in a baby being killed. Where his little body is disposed of makes no difference.

So because its a baby it doesn't matter? Go fuck yourself.

[–]Pamplemousse96 18 points19 points20 points 7 years ago (18 children) | Copy Link

What the fuck? A procedure done on a clump of cells vs leaving a born baby to the elements to starve and die are totally different and if you see them as the same you’re just a fucking idiot. Pro choice people want safe abortions that can be done early and no one does late term abortions unless one of both May die. Doctors don’t just fucking take babies out of vaginas and yeet them into the trash it’s a medical procedure done before it even looks anything like a fetus. The woman in this article is a monster and you’re an idiot.

[+]8freaky -6 points-5 points-4 points 7 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link

No the woman in this article killed a baby she didn’t want. Just like she could have done legally with an abortion. It takes a special kind of cognitive dissonance to differentiate between the two.

[–]KaltatheNobleMind 0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

The embryos people want to abort tend not to have developed nervous systems which can feel pain and therefore suffer. It's why most pro choicers are against late term abortions, they have developed enough of a nervous system to suffer.

And we all know what happens when you force w woman to carry a child she doesn't want to full term and full development. She throws it in a trashbag to die all while it is aware of it's abandonment and starvation. If it doesn't suffocate first.

[–]Thewalk4756 0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

You could have easily been one of those "embryos" but your mother decided otherwise. Without her choice for you to exist and be here today, you would be nothing, literally.

[–]KaltatheNobleMind 1 point2 points3 points 7 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

And if she didn't want me someone else would be making these same arguments in my place. And if she didn't want me but was forced to have me she might very well be the woman in this very article.

And there are many other unwanted children who are unfairly punished with neglect and abuse because they never asked to be born and their parents resent them. Some even grow up disturbed to the point they hurt others of they don't end their own lives.

Why would I want anyone to be condemend to such a fate? Why is it better for children to be condemend to horrible hurtful parents than to simply not exist?

[–]IsaRos 1 point2 points3 points 7 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Because it is so much easier to just take a snippet of the total picture, and take side with the moral high ground “Pro life”, than to actually keep thinking this completely though, and to come to the same (depressing) conclusion as you.

In the first scenario, you are a moral “good” person, 2nd one is depressing, and (raging) “How could you suggest such a horrible idea of killing babies” -> Back to 1st.

You can’t win with logic in these times against ideologies based on morale and feelings.

[–]KaltatheNobleMind 1 point2 points3 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

We don't call them NPCs for nothing :p simple minds hold simple worldviews.

At least those who claim everyone has a right to life have an admirible if misguided moral.

Those who claim the mother needs to learn responsibility are the ones that scare me the most. They have a vengance over justice mindset where they want the child to be a punishment for a promiscous party girl than hope it grows up to cure cancer.

[+]Nuttin_Up -16 points-15 points-14 points 7 years ago* (11 children) | Copy Link

So that's what it comes down to? Looks? If it looks like a baby then it shouldn't be killed but if it doesn't look like a baby then it's ok to kill it? So at what point in development does it look like a baby and shouldn't be killed?

Edit: Even abortionists admit that they kill babies.

[–]KaltatheNobleMind 1 point2 points3 points 7 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link

Brain activity. The embryos people want to abort tend to not have nervous systems that can register pain and therefore suffer.

The baby in the above story was fully developed with full conciouness senses and cognition, all the properties that can allow it to feel pain and therefore suffer.

Better to snuff an unwanted child when it lacks a brain to feel pain then to force the mother to carry it to term so she can disposal of it in more cruel ways.

[–]Nuttin_Up -1 points0 points1 point 7 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link

Which is the lesser evil? Kill the baby when it doesn't even have a brain to feel it's death or to let it developer into a proper human with awareness feelings and senses so it can feel every piece of abuse and neglect?

Inb4 "we shouldn't kill any babies" and I wish everyone had enough money to support every child to full adulthood and enough time and caring so said child is raised with the love and support they need.

Sadly we don't live in such a world and so there are humans who will suffer and if they are lucky can live long enough to spread that suffering again.

So better to end it's life before it has the capacity to suffer as a mercy.

[–]Nuttin_Up 0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

So, if allowed to live, which ones will suffer and which ones will thrive? Who needs to be snuffed before having a chance at life?

[–]KaltatheNobleMind 2 points3 points4 points 7 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

The ones who are wanted by their parents would be kept safe and be raised to adulthood.

This very article shows what happens when you force a parent who does not want children to carry that child to term.

Ends in a more cruel and unusual death.

I want quality of life not quantity.

And those who want to kill their babies at any stage kill their babies I their genes won't survive to the next generation.

So if you wanna end abortion let the pro abortion people cause their own extinction. Those who love life and their children will inherit the earth.

[–]sourwormsandwhisky1 points 7 years ago [recovered] (3 children) | Copy Link

I don’t really want to get into an argument with you but how do you feel about turning someone’s life support off when they’re pronounced legally brain dead. Their heart still pumps but there’s no brain activity. Do you consider that murder?

[–]Nuttin_Up 1 point2 points3 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

No, I don't. But there's a very big difference between a person who is dying and is being sustained with modern high tech machines and a person who is growing and rapidly developing in a womb. A growing being isn't "brain dead".

😐 That is horrible. Have you looked into fostering? Usually when fostering, you get a chance to adopt later on and the government funds the fostering part.

[–]Demonae1 points 7 years ago* [recovered] (10 children) | Copy Link

I have. Currently I live in nowhere Nevada. I would need to take classes that are over 100 miles away during the work week. Unless I move it is just not feasible.

[–]DonkeyWindBreaker 16 points17 points18 points 7 years ago* (6 children) | Copy Link

How long are the classes, ie, can you take a week or two vacation and stay in the area where they are so that it becomes a possibility again? I mean, sounds like its something you very much want in life, so why not try that extra mile.

That being said if they are once a week for like 9 weeks or something like that, thats just a true hinderance to those that would give loving homes to unwanted or orphaned kids.

Edit: My first silver. Neat.

[–]Demonae1 points 7 years ago* [recovered] (4 children) | Copy Link

That's a good question, thank you. I haven't checked in a while but it was fairly prohibitive. Looking at it now it says 30 hours. I'll call them on Monday for updated info.

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points4 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

As much as the government absolutely sucks at just about everything, if I were you I’d ask them if they can work with you on the adoption process, as far as the classes go. I can’t imagine them putting their foot down and saying you’re out of luck. There has to be some alternative.

[–]MalakaiRey -2 points-1 points0 points 7 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Would you hate it if you’re hypothetical daughter wanted to abort your grandkid? Lotta anger an resentment in your text are you sure you could totally love a woman again?

[–]KaltatheNobleMind 0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

I think they'd hate it if their irresponsible daughter dumped their grandchild on them while she does who knows what and would be livid if their granddaughter was neglected and definitely disown her if she ever abused said grandchild. And would wanna wrong her neck themselves if she did what the woman in this article did.

Killing what science says is no different from a tumor (not many tumors have brains to feel pain) seems to be the more favorable option in that regard.

[–]MalakaiRey -1 points0 points1 point 7 years ago* (0 children) | Copy Link

We could paint scenarios all day where OP would be a “better” or more “willing” option/parent for a hypothetical child. 9 months leading up to birth goes one way...we praise doctors for observing congenital defects as early as possible. Sometimes cerebral palsy injuries at birth can change EVERYTHING.

There is a common thread in any scenario though, and that’s the pretentious-at-best and tyrannical-at-worst attitudes that are inherent in the act of being a backseat driver over pregnancy and child birth. We should be discussing safety and better medical practice—nothing else really.

Obviously the resolution is neither throwing babies in the garbage nor is it free abortions while you get your oil changed. But ine thing is certain, we need to stop discussing these hypotheticals with the pretentious attitude of certainty when we all know notjing is certain in childbirth and life.

Not even OP being a good parent is certain. But he is clearly hurt and that should probably be addressed. Stories like this must be particularly tough; but its wrong to project his own life into this. The babies this woman killed arent the only babies who needed saving that day or any day. We need to move beyond the sensations of regret and revenge.

I totally get it. If it wasn't so cringey I'd get a mail order bride so she could get US citizenship in exchange for me getting a kid. I'm looking to move in a year or so and will look into foster care and adoption then.

[–]HendersonDaRainKing1 points 7 years ago [recovered] (3 children) | Copy Link

Do it. Romantic love is a myth when you look at data. Arranged marriages can work. And so do the mail order thing. It doesn't always lead to disaster.

My brother did it at 44. His 25 year old wife is expecting their second child in a few months. He's a happy family man.

[–]anillop 2 points3 points4 points 7 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

I have known 2 guys who went down that path. Both were supposedly happliy married for 10 years. They had kids, they brought her parents over, and then after 8 and 10 years they got divorce papers and now the guys are paying spousal and child support. These guys were used as chumps for citizenship and support. Once their use is over these women no longer have to live the lie any more.

Listen there’s a right to abort. However giving birth and than stuffing an actual child into a garbage bag and leaving it in the woods. Please don’t correlate the two. Because this is actual murder. I’m adopted so I understand where you’re coming from. There are so many kids in foster care that need good homes. There are babies that are adopted like myself. But abortion is a different story. Sorry about how your relationship.

[–]Demonae1 points 7 years ago* [recovered] (4 children) | Copy Link

Thanks. I just wish the was a better social network to connect loving families with women that might be inclined to consider adoption over abortion. The current adoption system is really broken and cost prohibitive once you really dig into it.

[–]bambola21 1 point2 points3 points 7 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

I completely agree with you. But for some, it’s the right choice. I definitely think that should be the first option but given the youngest person to give birth (not by choice) is 5 years old. I mean, there are many circumstances where perhaps that may be the best choice. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_youngest_birth_mothers

[–]Demonae1 points 7 years ago* [recovered] (2 children) | Copy Link

I'm definitely not arguing to ban abortion. I hope I didn't come off like that. Women's bodies, women's choice.

Thank you you’re awesome. It definitely sounded like that at first but I see your open. I appreciate that. And again, I’m sorry. I know how hard it is, I’ve seen friends through IVF, obviously my brothers and I are adopted and etc. good for you for keeping an open mind, respecting a woman’s right but also advocating adoption as an option. You’re a good man and I wish nothing but the best for you. ♥️

[–]bambola21 1 point2 points3 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I guess my biggest problem with antiabortionists (not you obviously) is that there are so many women and especially children who aren’t given that option. And they didn’t choose to be abused psychologically, mentally, emotionally or sexually. With all this Alabama and Ohio laws passing I guess it’s a sensitive subject. I understand my birth mother did her best. Although she drank and did drugs through my little brothers pregnancy. She literally ruined his life, he’s mentally and physically so broken, it’s hard to grow up and see what he couldn’t control. His disabilities which are many, gave me the strength to see that for some, life isn’t always what you want it to be. He’s handicapped and will never lead a normal life. My adoptive mother has done everything to help him to no avail. It’s sad and sick to think but sometimes I wonder if he would have been happier as an energy than living this morbid life he can’t escape. No Matter what meds or treatment. His life is nothing but pain and that pain bleeds into others souls to an extent that you have no idea. I know it’s easy for someone who hasn’t been through it to judge. But not everyone is meant to be a parent, and with the glimpse or hope of a better life is not always a reality.

[–]KaltatheNobleMind 2 points3 points4 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Does guarantee it's suffering though.

At least the embryos that get aborted don't have the brains developed enough to register pain and therefore suffer.

[–]Demonae1 points 7 years ago* [recovered] (3 children) | Copy Link

I'm so sorry. It broke my wife and I think it was a major reason she ended up leaving me for a guy with 2 kids already. A lot of States have fertility clinics now that are State sponsored to some extent. I hope you can work with a doctor at some point.

[–]Sangria_Dracul 3 points4 points5 points 7 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

I'd never leave my husband even if it's the 2 of us alone in the end. But it kills me to think I'm not able to give him children... We've actually been to a clinic before and they said the only problem was (I dont remember the actual name for it) that the "head" of his sperms were too small and they weren't sticking? And that I'm low on vitamin D (probably because we have a night schedule due to his job so o barely see the sun) so we started taking vitamin pills and he was taking these (expensive) pills for his sperm. They did a "cleaning" inside of me too to unclog the pipes. We were also using those fertile tests to see which days would be better to try. But the reason I think the problem is me is because a few years ago I got my period and I was bleeding for like 2 weeks or more and 1 day I was on the shower and there was this "chunk" of blood that fell. We went to the doctor and it turns out i was pregnant but miscarried. I had no idea... and since then sometimes it happens that I get really late on my period and when I use the bathroom the toilet paper is a light pink color (I looked it up and some people said it might be that I'm pregnant) but I always end up getting my period with A LOT of blood after. Which always makes me wonder if I miscarried again... I never say anything to him and dont talk about it... I keep thinking the problem is me and I just wanna die sometimes...

[–]Demonae1 points 7 years ago* [recovered] (1 child) | Copy Link

Wow that is so painful to here. My ex miscarried as well and had really bad periods so I just tried to be there for her. It's a terrible situation. Do you think you might tell your doctor and get your tubes tied? I suggested it to my wife but she didn't do it. Honestly I would thin the pain of knowing that you were never going to have children by your choice would be less than wondering every time you had a heavy period if it was another miscarriage.
I don't know, as a guy it's hard for me to put myself in that place, but I think I would choose sterilization myself.
Please just take care of yourself whatever happens!

[–]Sangria_Dracul 1 point2 points3 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Been thinking of artificial insemination but at the same time I'm really scared of not working and it's not cheap... I get what you're saying but then I'd be thinking what if it happened and I made it impossible? I really have no idea what to do tbh... most of the time I just try to keep my mind off of it so I won't lose my mind. Thank you though and I wish the same to you!

[–]Northern-Breeze 1 point2 points3 points 7 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Wtf, why does it cost to adopt?!

[–]Snaggled-Sabre-Tooth 2 points3 points4 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

And the kicker is, after costing such an extreme amount that only the upper class -that would rather use extremely expensive science methods to naturally have children anyways- can afford. You run the risk of having the child taken away from you and given back to the biological parents. Some cases these biological parents are given back the child, due to judges ruling incorrectly on sentencing a removal of parental rights. Sometimes these adoptive parents are assholes who expect the child to be 100% theirs and give the child back after a few months because they have trauma. https://www.americanbar.org/groups/public_interest/child_law/resources/child_law_practiceonline/child_law_practice/vol_32/november-2013/restoring-parental-rights-after-an-adoption-is-finalized/.

Usually people adopt outside of the USA for all these reasons. I plan to too, not because I dont want to help children within the USA but I know I probably wont be able to afford 10 grand and at least I can help some child from China if I cant help one in my own country.

[–]Demonae1 points 7 years ago* [recovered] (1 child) | Copy Link

Holy shit this pisses me off when neckbeards and women say shit like that unironically. First to adopt you are forced to go through an adoption service that is almost always in the 5 figure range and there is no government assistance to help pay for that. Then you get stuck on a waiting list sometimes for years. Then when women have the baby they end up changing their minds and you have to start all over again.
In order to get around this many men hire surrogate mothers that are professional about the situation, but expect to pay a minimum of $50,000 for this type of service. And I don't even blame the surrogates for the price, carrying someone else's baby for 9 months is both risky and unpleasant for the woman who do this. Unfortunately it's just not in my price range.
Adopting from overseas comes with high adoption costs, legal complications, travel costs, and sometimes even physical risk of kidnapping and ransom if you don't go through a well established agency.

[–]zoro-ryuma -2 points-1 points0 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

You are not forced to go through an agency. That’s only one type of adoption. Independent adoptions cost less and don’t use agencies. But the government heavily regulates them and some states have banned them.

[–]Nuttin_Up 1 point2 points3 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

/s ?

[–]Gareth321 0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

I can’t tell if this is like double sarcasm or if you just don’t understand the difference between adoption and foster care. There are 443,000 kids in the system in the US. Most of them have a pretty shitty life, even once they leave. It’s much harder to line up a baby. Everyone wants those. Well, in reality, there’s a pecking order. The black kids with crack addicted mothers and birth defects are right at the bottom. The white kids are virtually impossible to adopt as babies because near everyone - like the guy above - wants one. If he relaxed his standards to Asian or black, he’d probably have a baby. And if he relaxed his standards even more, to a kid who is a few years old, he’d have one in a few weeks.

[–]sakurarose20 1 point2 points3 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

ESPECIALLY once they leave the system. The state gives no fucks about the former foster youth they fail on a regular basis.

[–]sakurarose20 -1 points0 points1 point 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Um, as a former foster youth, the system IS overcrowded. And IF you age out, you have these options: jail/prison, pregnancy before you're ready (thus chancing more unwanted kids in the system), homelessness, abusive relationships, substance abuse and addiction, prostitution or human trafficking, death (by suicide or other means), OR forcing yourself to beat the system.

So yeah, shut the fuck up about things you don't understand.

[–]Mansyn 0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

"Women are natural nurturers and carers"

- One of history's oldest myths

[–]Rata910 9 points10 points11 points 7 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

Actually, most perpetrators of child violence are women. Women are also more cruel, that's why they sometimes get more time for the same crimes than men.

[–]CubanNoDutchIrish1 points 7 years ago [recovered] (1 child) | Copy Link

Women are more commonly involved with 'indirect' violent acts which avoid direct confrontation with their victims. Poisoning crimes, for example, are statistically shown to be committed more so by women. Lashing out at a helpless proxy (such as a child) in order to gain attention and satisfy their narcissism is also more common amongst women (see Munchausen's Syndrome by proxy). Truly frightening are the number of cases where a loved one is so unaware that their beloved wife/partner or even mother is slowly and deliberately harming them to feed their own psychosis.

[–]rapthrowaway1120 -1 points0 points1 point 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

That's got to do more with being physically weaker and not having access or knowledge relaying to firearms. If cruelty and heartlessnes were measurable, women would beat men in spadefuls.

[–]Fantoche_Dreemurr 4 points5 points6 points 7 years ago* (0 children) | Copy Link

Yes, that was my comment. Women as natural nurturers is a myth. A woman will always turn on the kids the second she stops benefiting from them. Look at any divorce case when they suddenly turn on the kids, even beat them up to then claim hubby beat them and she needs full alimony because fake tears.

My brother works as a social worker, women turning on kids is what drive him to drink, you wouldn't believe the horror stories I get from him.

While I'm all on board for putting these pieces of trash in jail, does no one else find it troubling that the government is able to subpoena searching the entire database for matches instead of subpoenaing the DNA of a single person? Seems like a big Court authorized fishing Expedition.

[–]Horse_with_no_name_ 1 point2 points3 points 7 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

These dna family tree companies require you consent your dna to be used for law enforcement purposes if you want to use their service. If you don’t want your dna searched don’t use their service. If your relatives use the service and you’ve committed a horrible crime in the past that was never solved - maybe we hope that you do get caught ? Too bad ?

[–]Racefiend 0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Yes, you do have to sign a privacy policy that states (for 23 and me for example):

> We will not provide information to law enforcement or regulatory authorities unless required by law to comply with a valid court order, subpoena, or search warrant for genetic or Personal Information

But let's look at what a warrant should consist of:

> no warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.

The government is supposed to provide specifics of who and what they are looking for before getting a warrant signed by a judge. Instead, they're getting a warrant that allows them to search an entire dna database for even the remotest match, then using that evidence to investigate/narrow down the perpetrator. It's akin to something like "there was a murder in town. The perpetrator used a 9mm. We're going to search every home in town and get any 9mm gun, then test them all to get a ballistics match."

> If your relatives use the service and you’ve committed a horrible crime in the past that was never solved - maybe we hope that you do get caught ? Too bad ?

The ends should never justify the means

They can’t use ancestry.com nor 23andme.

It’s illegal, but there’s a third nationwide one (I can’t remember the name) that they can use. It works like this.

I go to ancestry.com and get my dna profile.

I take that profile and upload it onto the other database.

That one, can be used.

Ancestry and 23andme prohibit law enforcement from using them. They won’t give the records. But you can take your info and go to the other site and upload. You’ll possibly get more info AND help out Law enforcement.

I learned about it all on a podcast called “Bear Brook.” It’s about 4 girls found in barrels, 2 in 1985 and 2 in 2000 in a park about 5 miles from where I live. Their cases helped jump start the DNA movement. And familial DNA is what helped locate their killer, or maybe it was identify one of the victims. I can’t remember.

Great podcast though!

That would be a valid statement if any abortion clinic would actually remove a late-term fetus without severe medical issues to justify and sustain that decision.

Honestly, anti-abortionists like you are so dramatic & such blatant misogynists, it’s not even subtle anymore.

https://thehill.com/blogs/congress-blog/healthcare/328629-most-late-term-abortions-are-elective

[–][deleted] 3 points4 points5 points 7 years ago (17 children) | Copy Link

I appreciate the source & information, but truly, this isn’t groundbreaking or even supportive of your statement. The woman interviewed was at 26 weeks...a fetus doesn’t even develop the neural pathways to begin feeling pain or responding to stimuli until 27 weeks. You’re initial comment is exactly what I pegged it as — alarmist and dramatic anti-abortionist propaganda.

Every single statistic in this article is vague. “Fetal deformities, which includes correctable conditions such as a cleft palate.” And how many of those fetal deformities were not correctable conditions? And how many of those “elective” late term abortions were actually requested by women who are too mentally unhealthy/inept to carry a fetus to term? Because that does qualify as a severe medical condition, whether you (or the abortionists) agree with that sentiment or not. I could have a perfectly healthy fetus and responsibly choose to have an abortion at 26wks because I just found out about the pregnancy and I have bipolar that leaves me highly susceptible to post-pregnancy depression and mental illness.

Not to mention the obvious and inherent bias the author shows in calling fetuses “children.” Such emotionally loaded & plainly inaccurate language in any abortion argument is unhelpful and misleading.

Edit: typo

[–]infamousnexus -1 points0 points1 point 7 years ago (16 children) | Copy Link

So hold on, you should be allowed to kill a fetus with a deformity?

How about a baby born for 10 minutes?

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points4 points 7 years ago (15 children) | Copy Link

Not what I said. I said statistics are vague and that elective abortions are written with an obvious bias as something that happens to include “deformities” such as cleft palates but not the obvious and majority ones that are not ‘correctable’ or even survivable. I’ve explained my point very clearly, don’t make wild assertions or attempt to put words into my mouth — it doesn’t work, sorry.

A baby born for 10 minutes is a baby. Not a fetus. It exists without a host, outside of a womb. It would obviously be murder to kill it, not abortion. You act like I’m explaining some insane foreign concept when I say fetus =/= baby.

[–]infamousnexus -1 points0 points1 point 7 years ago (14 children) | Copy Link

A fetus is a baby.

One is an infant, the other is a fetus. Both are babies.

Before fetus is embryo, before embryo is blastocyst, before blastocyst is zygote. All are stages of human development.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points3 points 7 years ago (13 children) | Copy Link

The definition of “baby” is a young child, one newly or recently born. Literally, by definition, it is not synonymous with “fetus.”

[–]humanprogression -1 points0 points1 point 7 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

Gotta draw the line somewhere!

[–]infamousnexus 0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

The line is fertilization, when a new life is created by the merging of two haploid gametes cells into a single 46 chromosome diploid cell; a zygote, fully capable of mitotic reproduction, metabolization, homoestasis within a womb, etc. All the basic requirements of life.

That's just the science. If anyone wants to argue when 'personhood' begins, that's not a discussion I'm comfortable with because it's a eugenic conversation we've had too many times before, such as during the slavery era as well as Nazi Germany.

[–]humanprogression 0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Neat... can it naintain that homestasis outside the womb? No? Then it's not a distinct human life.

[–]infamousnexus 0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Not currently, but with the aid of technology it may one day be able to.

So let me ask you this.. Prior to the invention of SCUBA gear, was a person not a person because he couldn't survive underwater?

You can argue that if you remove the fetus from the womb and it dies, it's a dead person, just as somebody who drowns under water is a dead person.

They're still people. Everyone has a habitat, and the habitat of a zygote, blastocyst, embryo and fetus is inside a mother's womb, just as somebody without kidney function is no less human because they require dialysis to maintain homeostatis and survive.

[–]scrufdawg 1 point2 points3 points 7 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

Care to elaborate for those of us who don't listen?

[–]Copperman72 3 points4 points5 points 7 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Basically it’s about a guy who started a website GenMatch where people upload their DNA data from 23 and me etc, in the hopes of finding long lost relatives. About million people have uploaded their data.

The police have been using this database to identify people who are related to criminals who leave DNA at crime scenes (typically rapists and murderers). They identify relatives of the criminals through DNA database searches, creating a family tree of related individuals, and then narrow down a list of potential suspects based on age and sex. They then get a DNA sample from a cup or cigarette from each suspect and match it to the crime scene DNA.

In the last few years they have solved more than 50 cold cases dating back to the 80’s, including serial killers and serial rapists. Some people have pleaded guilty based on the DNA alone.

The database is apparently big enough now that anybody in the US who leaves DNA at a crime scene can be now be identified simply based on the DNA in this database uploaded by relatives.

The first trial using this technology starts next week.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

[–]Complex_Illusion -1 points0 points1 point 7 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Says who? Somehow moving 4 inches outside the Womb makes it a life? Interesting logic bro. But i mean, you have the justify murder somehow right? Just claim it's not a life despite everything pointing to it being life so you don't feel bad about proudly supporting abortion.

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points4 points 7 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

I never said it wasn't some kind of life. Im sayimg calling a fetus a baby at any point outside of birth is inaccurate. Im fine supporting abortion rights without resorting to such hyperbole as you anti-abortionists do..

[–]Complex_Illusion -1 points0 points1 point 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Simply a technicality. It's a Baby no matter the placement therefore it's a life meaning no one has right to kill it.

[–]Morgan-Thomson 1 point2 points3 points 7 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

It really is starting to become pointless. I was reading the other day that they catch people now based on reverse engineering DNA samples from people who have similar DNA to you such as family to narrow down who to look for.
It is getting harder and harder to get away with murder.
I am wondering when the day arrives where they can just spray a solution in an area and have that feed a bunch of names into a database based on the DNA it detects all nearly instant and cheap.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points3 points 7 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

no. we should not be doing this

[–]deadwood 1 point2 points3 points 7 years ago* (0 children) | Copy Link

Yeah, I shouldn't have made that such a blanket statement. I know a lot of people don't want to be involved in this, and that's totally up to each person. I guess I should have said you should do this if you feel strongly about wanting to help identify persons of interest in cold cases, and identifying John Does and Jane Does. There are a lot of valid reasons for not wanting to participate in this. Personal privacy, for example, would be being a very strong motivation for many people. Sharing your DNA profile with the world isn't something that should be taken lightly. So I totally understand why GEDmatch is now including only the people who actively opt in.

[–]Cias 3 points4 points5 points 7 years ago (15 children) | Copy Link

Not saying this is the same, but both result in the death of baby. If the result is the same, how is either means to the result considered legal?

[–]Nitroapes1 points 7 years ago [recovered] (14 children) | Copy Link

Because one takes medical specialists to determine if it is actually needed. You know they can deny abortions if it would be harmful to the woman or the fetus is too far along.

This is like saying "both a vet putting your dog down and running a dog over lead to a dead dog, why is one worse?"

[–]Cias -1 points0 points1 point 7 years ago (13 children) | Copy Link

I fully understand that, but both result in a baby who is now dead, which would have lived otherwise.

[–]morsule1 -1 points0 points1 point 7 years ago (12 children) | Copy Link

The clump of cells in a women when she is 5 weeks pregnant is not a baby! It would've been a baby but its not a baby. Just like the sperm you waste jerking off could've been a baby but is not a baby! Not being pro life or pro choice but just clarifying.

[–]Cias 1 point2 points3 points 7 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link

And I agree. I'm more referring to later term pregnancy

[–]morsule1 4 points5 points6 points 7 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link

Most abortion happen in the 1st 10 weeks. As in %75. Abortion when there is a full grown fetus are less then %5

[–]Cias 1 point2 points3 points 7 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

I also agree. But my comparison was to those later term abortions.

[–]morsule1 1 point2 points3 points 7 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Well, now that you clarified what you meant, yeah killing a baby in the 9th month of pregnancy or just after it's born is almost the same.

[–]8freaky -1 points0 points1 point 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

And yet that 5% is protected by law. She could have literally killed this fully formed baby legally at an abortion clinic. She probably didn’t want anybody to know and/or didn’t have the cash so she did a diy abortion. The result is EXACTLY the same for the baby. How can the state arrest her for murder? It’s hypocritical

What I'm saying is something stupid in response to your stupid comment to make you realize how stupid your comment is. Sperm doesn't equal conception which doesn't equal fetus which doesn't equal baby!

[–]TheRealCestus -3 points-2 points-1 points 7 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

[–]Polylemongon 0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Is it that hard to give up your kid for adoption?

[–]Savet 2 points3 points4 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I'm going to go out on a limb and guess that somebody who would do this probably has drug or alcohol problems, so those kids were probably damaged goods coming out of the womb. It's also possible that the father was black and while it's true that people are lining up for healthy white babies, people who can afford an adoption aren't looking up for fetal alcohol syndrome babies or colored babies that are clearly not biologically theirs.

Not saying that's the case but this is likely a situation where abortion would have been the appropriate choice. It costs a lot of money to adopt, so the reality is that giving them up for adoption is really no different than having your kids taken and put into state care for a lot of people.

[–]suss2it 0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

This is a heinous crime and all, but how did she use her status as a woman to try to get away with it?

[–]WalmartSushi007 0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I immediately thought this was Casey Anthony!

Then, with the help of an online database that collects voluntarily submitted DNA samples, investigators narrowed down the list, according to the report.

Was only a matter of time before these services were used by law enforcement. I bet it's buried somewhere in the fine print.

If it's to catch these degenerates I am honestly happy.

[–]Unclejohnfromjamaca 0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

[–]unfab 0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Honey, that ain't a mother.

[–]antifeminist3 0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

There is no reason for mother to abandon her baby this way. All she needs to do is tell a social worker "I can't handle this baby, it's too much for me", and the social worker will apprehend the baby and the mother won't be charged with a crime in any country. Women are entitled to abandon babies. And in the USA it is literally written into the law that women can literally abandon their babies to a hospital or firestation and not even give her ID. And in North Dakota, she can do that when the baby is up to one year of age. This women was in New York.

The only reason women would choose to do this, is to avoid 'embarrassment'. So the women feels she is so entitled to avoid embarrassment, that her entitlement to avoid embarrassment is more important than the babies life.

I have no empathy for these women.

[–]dplt 0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Those eyes, she truly looks crazy.

[–]ItIsABear 0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

It's scary that literally like 95%+ of the time, it's the women abusing their babies. Not men. And yet women are often perceived as the more caring gender, especially when it comes to children. That's just scary.

[–]1NationUnderGrOunD 0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Welp, another heartless low life female that won’t be enjoying her stay in Hell once she dies. Seriously how do people not think to just drop the baby off at a hospital or something so then the baby at least has a chance to live instead of damning it to a horrible death??? Unbelievable....looks like a friggin scarecrow in that photo. Hope you don’t mind hot places while getting the worst torment Satan and his demons can think of to do to you.....

[–]Yakhechos 0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Bride of chucky looking ass...

[–]DelicateLilSnowflake 1 point2 points3 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Typical feminist. They LOVE abortion and murdering babies. It’s basically their favorite hobby. They don’t care if the baby has already been born, they think they should have the right to murder it because it’s a mild inconvenience to their social lives.

[–]Ebinebinebinebin 0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Why would she do it like that? If she had murdered the baby before they were born, it would've been completely legal and she wouldn't've gotten in trouble!

[–]YourOwnGrandmother 0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Democrats are now a stones throw away from saying this is her right to “choose.”

Good thing Hell exists.

[–]rg90184 4 points5 points6 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I'm sad we have no proof of it existing, because people like this woman deserve to go there.

[–]TwiddlePee 0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

Good thing I have a different opinion but still respect your own

[–]Jack-Wayne 0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Good thing you’re a good person and we aren’t pointlessly fighting each other.

[–]TwiddlePee 0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Good thing we are understanding and rational human beings that are able to accept that someone else might not think the same way as we do, but that it is fine because we all have our own opinion and should respect eachother.

[–]Jack-Wayne 1 point2 points3 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Good thing that even though we may disagree on the existence of Hell, we agree that this child-murdering monster deserves to burn there regardless.

[–]crymorenoobs 0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

[–][deleted] -1 points0 points1 point 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Should’ve just aborted the baby the day before, everyone would’ve been fine with it

[–]SarahPallorMortis -4 points-3 points-2 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Finally some real pussy passed denied material. Not just “woman bad”

[+]skryk1 points 7 years ago [recovered] (2 children) | Copy Link

Abortion is healthcare though. I’d say her body her choice.

The power of a mother to kill her child is one of the most beautiful things in the world.
