My first wife turned out to be infertile but I stuck it out with her for 22 years only to have her cheat on me with a guy who had 2 young children. They're married now and living in another State. There is no reason for mother to abandon her baby this way. All she needs to do is tell a social worker "I can't handle this baby, it's too much for me", and the social worker will apprehend the baby and the mother won't be charged with a crime in any country. Women are entitled to abandon babies. And in the USA it is literally written into the law that women can literally abandon their babies to a hospital or firestation and not even give her ID. And in North Dakota, she can do that when the baby is up to one year of age. This women was in New York.

The only reason women would choose to do this, is to avoid 'embarrassment'. So the women feels she is so entitled to avoid embarrassment, that her entitlement to avoid embarrassment is more important than the babies life.
