Tumblr is sosososo negative. I used to have one (well I technically still do I just dont log on) for harry Potter stuff and I heard how the site was big on feminism so I searched it and the day I saw that someone posted that girls who arent feminists need to go to a country where they have no rights or be in an abusive relationship was the last day I used tumblr

The autofill on tumblr is based on how often tags are used, not like Google, which is primarily based on your own search history. But this is also a sign to the kind of people who populate tumblr and shows that the site is, by and large, allowing bigotry without question more often than they will admit, particularly given the recent purge of all porn and, as usual, highented scrutiny around LGBT topics.

I'm gonna go ahead and defend Tumblr here, hear me out before downvoting me/telling me to fuck off.

Those are search recommendations based on the most searched terms on the platform, they are purely the result of an algorithm, nothing more.

Feminists often turn to Tumblr to find "content" for their liking. I mean shit, I remember a few months ago stumbling on such a dumb tumblr page, it was literally composed of the silliest statements in the history of mankind. Shit like "Men are the root of all evil, they should all be murdered the instant a woman desires it" and then "Women are the most superior race on the planet earth due to their sheer amount of awesomeness!".

The funny part? The amount of reposts were equal between posts. There are still pages like this out there. Most people abandoned the platform once porn was restricted on the platform after Apple outright banned Tumblr from their App Store thinking that some pictures were literal child porn, and, like every single major conglomerate, they took a radical decision to "save" the platform. Lol.

Yet Tumblr is littered with women who are insanely submissive. I can't explain how many girls follow me & I follow that aren't just whores for men. Tumblr amazingly contradicts itself. Tumblr isn't going to show submissive women inside of a search engine. They pretty much wiped them out in December, but there's still an insane amount lingering with warning signs before entering their blogs. Trust me good girls are all over Tumblr, but it caters to its LGBT community incredibly well.
