Is she saying that male circumcision doesn't cause extreme pain for the child because they're male? There's plenty of evidence and graphic videos to show it quite clearly does so I'm not sure what she's trying to say here.

A good thing from this... I was a little naughty, found her twitter feed. She has two responses, one against circumcision/MGM, one tolerant of female circumcision/FGM.

The one against MGM had a link to a good image to demonstrate the information it removes nerve endings and increases certain problems, and this image.

Every religious text that recommends it, plus crazy Dr Kellogg who popularized it in the US, is pretty clear about its purpose - reducing the pleasure of masturbation. Whether or not it was successful in doing so could be debated until the heat death of the universe, but what's undeniably true is that its purpose was never to increase sexual pleasure...You generally don't go about doing that by removing nerves from the genital area.

Actually i believe one excuse for 'female circumcision'(which has since been changed to be correct) was meant to be used for a man's pleasure in some cases, can't say it makes a lick of sense to me.

Male circumcision on the other hand...well, she was only reading an article, not actual research on the subject, but shes 100% wrong, it does the opposite. It was meant to do the opposite, and keep it cleaner.

Also, does she not know how painful it probably is for a boy to be circumcised?(Never heard of a baby that was a-ok with having part of his penis cut off) And that some have problems and can potentially die?

Any kind of procedure is painful and shocking to a fucking baby, its a baby!

I agree with neither. I believe cutting up anyone’s genitals is barbaric.

But fgm is much worse I’m sorry. Not only is it removing pleasure but it’s taking away from the actual function of the vagina. It causes extreme complications with childbirth and pregnancy, sometimes resulting in death. When a penis is circumcised it still works. It can get hard, you can have sex with it, you can ejaculate, etc. When removing the clit, labia minora and sometimes labia majora with a rusty razor, you don’t get to orgasm anymore, you might have extreme infection, and the way the vagina heals after this causes the opening to the vagina to be small and lose its elasticity, this means sex is extremely painful.

Once again regardless of gender genital mutilation is horrible, but I mean come on now.
