Hi everyone. My wife and I have two kids - one girl and a newborn born boy.
I was born in Europe in a country that considers circumcision to be barbaric mutilation, but apparently it is common in America still to this day.
My wife has seen a few penises before me but all were circumcised she says.
She recently had a girlfriend come over and the topic of circumcision came up. Her friend said she’d never seen an uncircumcised penis before and my wife mentioned that our son is not cut.
The friend asked if she could see what it looks like, so my wife offered to show this friend of hers.
I actually wasn’t there for any of the earlier conversation. I only walked in during the moment that she was showing the friend. She even let her friend touch it.
Am I right to be upset by this? I later ripped my wife a new one but she claims that there was no harmful intention behind it only curiosity and her argument was that her friend might someday have children and she should be informed about it.
I still think this is fucked up though? Any advice?

They’re making a young man’s gentians a spectacle for show and tell, and the father is the one sexualising? Unbelievable.

The title is inaccurate.
Most of the top posts support the father.

As weird as this is.. it's a baby and I can totally understand it being so innocent you don't even consider the possibility of the implications. Thus if someone points it out you're shocked they'd even consider it and accuse them of sexualizing it. Personally I think it's weird but a baby is so far away from anything remotely sexual to me that it's just a super innocent thing to do. It's just a little baby. Everything about it is cute. It's a little human. I just couldn't even conceive it.
[–][deleted] 24 points25 points26 points (9 children) | Copy Link
you don’t touch a baby’s dick.
[–][deleted] 9 points10 points11 points (0 children) | Copy Link
you definitely do not touch a baby's dick. except to clean the pee off.
[+][deleted] -15 points-14 points-13 points (7 children) | Copy Link
I'll pray for your child to endure the inevitable infections it'll get from you being an actual idiot who thinks every touch has to be sexual. That's a baby you sick fuck. You clean it's ass and his mouth but you stop at the privates why? It's a fucking baby. You have to touch, look and inspect. Jesus christ man.. Touch doesn't mean masturabate, by the way.
[–][deleted] 12 points13 points14 points (2 children) | Copy Link
what a dumbass you are, Cleaning is different than strictly touching, who said masturbation ? This bitch was not inspecting it for dirt or anything you fucking Pedo
[+][deleted] -7 points-6 points-5 points (1 child) | Copy Link
Only a pedo would think there's anything sexual related to that. If you can't even conceive someone would only feel out of curiosity, then you're the pedo.
[–]Mackowatosc 1 point2 points3 points (3 children) | Copy Link
Its quite a way from cleaning, to giving access to someone so they can touch just because Mom's a pedo - take her away. Same with friend, no exceptions and no mercy.
[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points (2 children) | Copy Link
Real talk, do you think it's impossible to be curious about something you haven't seen before without wanting to suck or fuck it? Is that possible in your world? You're weird dude.
[–]Mackowatosc 1 point2 points3 points (1 child) | Copy Link
why would her friend want to see an infant's genitals ? WTF, really? Is that child or some plaything? If she wants to see my dick, am I obliged to show her because she's fucking curious? How's that different from an INFANT, really?! Apart from the fact that it cant voice an informed CONSENT over something that interfaces with his intimacy?
[–][deleted] -1 points0 points1 point (0 children) | Copy Link
Jesús Christ man. You're not worth responding. This is so detached from reality.
[–]SwordfshII 7 points8 points9 points (56 children) | Copy Link
Its not like they were changing the baby and it was an innocent observation. This was a calculated show AND the sicko was touching the baby.
Ok so do you say "Its just a little puppy. Everything about it is cute. It's a little dog"
Then proceed to play with it's dick?
No because that is fucking sick
[–][deleted] -2 points-1 points0 points (55 children) | Copy Link
Jesus Christ, just look at you. "Calculated showing". You're possessed by your retarded ideology. You can't even see that this is just a fucking baby and nobody thinks of it in any of the twisted ways you do. It's literally like showing an innie or outie bellybutton. Nothing else. You can't even see how twisted you are for thinking this is anything sexual. Sick fucks. Literally just curiosity, she didn't stay there touching it all day and took pictures did she? All she did is "oh that's curious, so weird" and let it be.
[–]SwordfshII 8 points9 points10 points (26 children) | Copy Link
Go touch some babies and see how that works out for you
Cool, go peep in a high school locker room and use that as an excuse.
What kind of sick fuck thinks it is ok to show off and touch a babies sexual organs because of "curiosity." Apparently YOU. Fucking pedophile

[–][deleted] -1 points0 points1 point (21 children) | Copy Link
I never said this. In fact, if you keep looking at my comments you'll see who I agreed with. And yeah, context matters. Shock. Otherwise to you naked babies shown on TV shows are child porn, I guess. They're babies. You're a psycho.
[–]Mackowatosc 1 point2 points3 points (27 children) | Copy Link
Being curious abouth infant's genitals says "pedo" in my book.
[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points (26 children) | Copy Link
Then you got pedo defined wrong, no wonder you go around accusing people of such horrible things so lightly.
[–]Amabry 0 points1 point2 points (25 children) | Copy Link
Yeah "Lightly". Somebody gets their friend to take a baby's diaper off so they can look at and touch their genitals...
That's textbook sex abuse. Full stop.
Reverse the genders, both adults would be in jail. If you don't want to be accused of being a pedophile, don't fondle children's genitals.
[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points (24 children) | Copy Link
Lightly was referring to the other guy who called me those things.
Genders also werent reverse now, were they? Men and women are not equal, newsflash.
Not everyone who touches a baby penis gets aroused. That's maybe new for your but those people exist, they're called normal.
[–]Amabry 0 points1 point2 points (23 children) | Copy Link
Nope, that's not how that works. It's still sexual abuse, regardless of the gender of the perpetrators and the victim. Quit molesting babies, you sick fucks. There's nothing normal about it.
[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points (22 children) | Copy Link
Why are you talking about me.. what the hell? And yeah, it is how it works, you rebuttled nothing and didn't bring any argument other than no.
[–][deleted] 4 points5 points6 points (3 children) | Copy Link
I posted in the other thread first and saw later it was linked here, mods if that's not okay just let me know and I'll delete this. I read things from both subreddits and rarely comment on either. Let's flesh out your innocence argument a bit more: even if there was no malice behind it, even if it wasn't sexual at all, it was inappropriate. It's admittedly not done for medical/hygienic purposes, and it's still frankly very strange. People just dismissing it when it's seemingly innocuous is something predators rely on and it's a strong argument for reporting. Professionals can look at the totality of the circumstances and they'll know how to find anything that may be hidden. I worked for a church (not in a denomination with a reputation) and this was a major thing brought up in training around preventing issues. It may not be certain that it's wrong but you can say without a doubt something is not right; say something. If it's nothing it's nothing.
[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points (2 children) | Copy Link
Sure. I can agree with this. My point was only that in this situation it 100% was completely innocent and not worth any concern. Jumping up and calling people pedophiles without ever taking a step back and being honest with oneself for one second is just disgusting.
[–][deleted] 3 points4 points5 points (1 child) | Copy Link
Yeah I think the pedophile label might not be warranted from just what we know but it should still be very alarming. If mom can't wrap her head around why showing someone the baby's genitals "just because" is not a good idea there should be some concern over her ability to adequately care for a child. Go watch "Abducted in Plain Sight" on Netflix if you want to see a case where parents just assumed things were innocent when they weren't.
[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points (0 children) | Copy Link
Jesus Christ man. You guys are paranoid, sick and possessed. I'm for sure gonna go watch fucking Netflix to know about the real world.. listen to yourself.

I’m not a father, but I work at a hospital and this is pretty common behavior between the mothers in the pediatric ward. “My child has “this or that” and the other mothers would go “can I see?”. Between us students is common if one of us sees some rare case that student would call the others so they can see it too, of course we ask permission to the patient to examine them or if it is an infant we ask the parents but if this is the case in the genitalia we don’t perform an exam we let that to the more experienced doctors or if the patients is a child and the parents gave us permission but we see signs of embarrassment or that they really don’t want us seeing or examining them we obviously desist and let the doctor handle it in private. But I have to say that if the father is uncomfortable with this behavior that his wife showed, she needs to stop and never do it again.

The way you've described it the situation seems innocent enough. If you reversed the roles I have to wonder if it would be considered innocent. A father letting a male friend look at and touch his daughter's vagina because the friend has never seen an non-mutilated vagina before.

Women take pleasure in humilating men through insult or casualisation of men's genitals, even a new born. I don't see it was a sexual but it is rape. Completely unforgivable transgression of parental responsibility.
[–]twittyswister 19 points20 points21 points (1 child) | Copy Link
Whoa there...let's not take the retarded feminist pledge, here.
It's not rape. It's rude and totally inappropriate but it's not rape. If you start telling people that that's rape then you're going to have to agree that every time a man kisses a girl it was rape. Why? Because you're making the definition very subjective and in that case, well shit, anything can be rape.
Let's not cheapen our words or dive straight into the feminist victim narrative gutter here.
[–]Philletto 1 point2 points3 points (0 children) | Copy Link
I thoroughly agree with you on adults capable of consent, but a very young child has no sense of what is going on.
[–]Steve1808 25 points26 points27 points (5 children) | Copy Link
My ex had two baby sisters, aged 5 and 2. She would commonly help bathe them and in doing so would snapchat at the same time. She would send picturws of her naked sisters in the tub and even posted the pictures to her story. Keep in mind she had a large following on snap as well, she publicly posted her snap on ppaces like tumblr and shit, so a lot of people saw her baby sisters naked in a tub. I brought it up that i fdlt uncomfortable getting these pictures and that it was highly inappropriate to be posting them on her story for everyone to see. She turned the situation around on me and said i was the one wrong for sexualizing it and being so perverted and that lots of her friends replied sayong it was cute. Absolute mental she was.

[–]--Edog-- 13 points14 points15 points (1 child) | Copy Link
Yeah...I am pretty sure that is considered "child pornography" in most jurisdictions. Child Protective Services could wind up getting involved locally, and the FBI as well since it crosses state lines.
[–]Steve1808 4 points5 points6 points (0 children) | Copy Link
Oh it crossed many state and maybe international lines. She was from ny state and had friends all up and down the east coast aswell as a couple in countries like Mexico.i believe i told her directly it was like child pornography and she just told me oh they're innocent children nobody is going to see it that way unless they're super perverted and creepy...
[–][deleted] 25 points26 points27 points (8 children) | Copy Link
It's hypocrisy, for sure.
If we're going to argue that our children need to give consent before they are touched, then how can displaying your son's penis for a family friend be anything but a gross violation of that child's right to bodily integrity and privacy?
That being said, is the family friend seeing anything she wouldn't already see if they took the kids swimming, or she came over to babysit for a date night and had to change him? At some point, the caterwauling about consent gets a bit shrill and overwrought, and this would be an example, in my opinion.
[–]Amabry 0 points1 point2 points (7 children) | Copy Link
"She might've seen it anyway" isn't a justification. There's a chance I might accidentally spot my neighbor changing in her bathroom. That IN NO WAY justifies going in and peeping through her windows.
There's a good chance you might accidentally walk in on your teenage daughter in the bathroom, or casually see her changing in a room that she didn't close the door to. Does that mean you can go set up cameras in the bathroom to spy on her naked? Perhaps order her to strip and let your drinking buddies get a good look? Perhaps let them cop a feel while they're at it? ABSOLUTELY NOT.
The fact that you may casually see other people naked at some point is NOT a justification to take malicious action to look at and touch somebody's genitals. Let alone those of a BABY.
Yes, there are times when it's necessary in the course of CARING for a child to see and touch them.
If you're a caregiver changing a diaper, and the sole purpose of touching their genitals is to clean them.
If you're a caregiver bathing the child, and the sole purpose of touching their genitals is to clean them.
If you are a caregiver or a medical professional examining treating an injury, sore, rash, or infection, and the sole purpose of touching is to necessarily inspect and/or apply ointment or other medicine.
That's it. Any other touching of a child's genitals is sexual abuse. This show-and-tell of an infants sex organs was in NO WAY required or incidental to the care of the child, and there was absolutely no reason for that. Let alone the touching. If she wants to see a dick, she can google it, or find a consenting adult to let her touch then.
These women are creeps. Full stop.
[–][deleted] -1 points0 points1 point (6 children) | Copy Link
You're comparing intentional, malicious adult sexual malfeasance to a couple of Moms comparing notes? Get real.
When I was 12 years old, we watched my Aunt change my cousin in the middle of the living room floor, because the bathroom was being used. All four of this infant's cousins got to see his teeny little infant dick ... and got to watch him piss everywhere when the cold air hit him ... and got to watch my aunt get sprayed. Big deal.
Do you have any idea how many babies get changed in public every year? Good lord, go hang around a pool when juvenile swim gets out and you'll see a dozen naked kids in the change room with their parents, all but guaranteed. They get changed on the side of the highway on the hood, on the floor, in the back seat, out in parks, etc.
You sound like a raging prude.
[–]Amabry 0 points1 point2 points (5 children) | Copy Link
Not a couple of moms, and no comparing notes it was a mother allowing her friend (not a mother, but that's not really relevant), to ogle and molesting her BABY.
It doesn't get any malfeasant than that, you sick fuck.
I'm far from a prude. I'm fine with just about anything consenting adults want to do.
But fucking and molesting children I beyond the pale, you disgusting piece of shit.

You are not sexualising anything. Sex doesn't come into the discussion. Who thought it does?
This is about the objectification of a person. We are in the middle of a social crisis on how men reduce the value of a woman to one or two of their body parts. That is EXACTLY what this is. Reverse the genders of all involved and it is the same. If you respect your son and his body you don't go around offering people to see it without good reason. He isn't a toy and he isn't your 'property'. He is a vulnerable child. If her friend wants to see an uncircumcised penis she can google it. Why does she 'need' to see a babies?

[–]HeroWords 3 points4 points5 points (9 children) | Copy Link

[–]iainmf 12 points13 points14 points (8 children) | Copy Link
Brigading is frowned upon by Reddit admins and mensrights needs to keep it's nose clean because we are a controversial sub.
[–]Halafax 7 points8 points9 points (0 children) | Copy Link
For some. The admins encourage it for some other groups.
[–]HeroWords 1 point2 points3 points (6 children) | Copy Link
So that merits an outright order not to even vote on another thread? Ok...
[–]Mac4491 5 points6 points7 points (3 children) | Copy Link
I agree somewhat with the no commenting part of it but being told not to vote is ridiculous.
[–]antilopes 2 points3 points4 points (2 children) | Copy Link
The site admins disagree. The idea is that votes represent the opinion of the sub's subscribers, not those of invaders who may be pulled in by a link posted in a sub with a possibly very different or outright hostile culture. This is especially a problem when the target sub is much smaller, the brigading votes can overwhelm the natives.
Database servers are wonderful things, they can easily run some queries to show which subs do the most brigading.
[–]ModsAreThoughtCops 7 points8 points9 points (1 child) | Copy Link
You mean like how TMOR brigades the conservative subreddit every single day but the admins do nothing?
[–]antilopes 2 points3 points4 points (0 children) | Copy Link
The admins are accused of having a liberal bias so I'm not shocked if anti-brigading enforcement is somewhat selective. It is always easier to see injuries done to one's own side.
TopMindsOfReddit doesn't require or even mention the existence of NP links in the sidebar rules, it just requests not brigading. Less than half its links to Reddit use NP. So I think they could do with a kick from the admins.
I saw /Conspiracy auto-bans TMOR.
It has long been said that SRS does brigading that would not be tolerated from a right wing sub. I have no idea if that is true because the SxS / cringe / circlejerk / drama / xInAction subs are confusing shitholes filled with disingenuous hate-crazed clever-dick internet warriors, I can't be bothered with any of them.
[–]antilopes -2 points-1 points0 points (1 child) | Copy Link
Yes it does warrant an order. The post could have been deleted since it is in breach of our rules to link to a thread on another sub without replacing www with np (No Participation, which pops up a reminder if you try to vote or comment).
MensRights and other men's subs are already autobanned by many subs because of brigading. Increasing the length of the list just confines us in an ever smaller circlejerk.
MR does not seem to me to be blocked as widely as MGTOW despite being twice the size, so possibly we are a better behaved class of citizen.

Only pleasure was for her ego in showing off her boys private parts to a non-family, non-medical person. Of course mothers do have a long history of pimping out their daughters. Are you sure she didn't get paid for letting her touch his dick. Maybe paid more to lick it or suck it.
