Indian court sentences a woman to 10 years in prison for murdering her handicap son. She initially tried to justify her action by blaming him of trying to molest her. The truth came out later that she wanted him dead for insurance money and hide her extra marital affair.

1) She must be a terrible psychic to have been wrong

2) Congratulations on thinking your mother was whoring around while it turns out Dali was faithful to his wife.

3) I sincerely hope there was more to go on than this charlatan's intuition.

4) RIP Dali

#4 shoulda been #1 IMO. BUT either way I agree

[+]ToddlerWars1 points 8 years ago* [recovered] (5 children) | Copy Link

Why do people on reddit feel the need to make such a point of mourning long-dead celebrities.

[–]crnext -1 points0 points1 point 8 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

I frankly don't GAF about celebrities. Famous or not famous, respect the deceased.

I have a similar question:

Why do people on Reddit make such effort to be disrespectful and spiteful? What kind of person feels good about behaving this way?

Oh. Username.

[+]ToddlerWars1 points 8 years ago* [recovered] (3 children) | Copy Link

And the person you replied to was respecting him. Just not enough to satisfy you, apparently.

Calling out your pointless virtue signalling isn't disrespectful or spiteful. You just don't want to hear it.

My username clearly went over your head but that's fine. If you think I'm actually supporting wars between toddlers then I really don't care.

[–]crnext -1 points0 points1 point 8 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Person.

Take a damn chill.

Try to get some perspective on life today. You are not going to change anyone's opinion on the internet.

Also, you're being very judgemental, (you don't even know me) and quite holier than thou. This does not belong here. I wasn't ridiculing the person, I simply said respect should come first.

Stop arguing a moot point! Especially in mens rights.

This shit doesn't belong here.

[+]ToddlerWars1 points 8 years ago* [recovered] (1 child) | Copy Link

Everything you just said was "holier than thou" bs. I mean I don't care about that really, but you're hypocritical as fuck dude. Go to Tumblr if you want to cry about people who died decades ago.

[–]MRA-automatron-2kb 602 points603 points604 points 8 years ago (39 children) | Copy Link

It's illegal in many countries for a man to want a paternity test but women can ask for the paternity test of a dead man like we are just sperm donors.

[–]NecroHexr 198 points199 points200 points 8 years ago (21 children) | Copy Link

Like we are just meat to fuck and abuse and throw about.

At the rate at which we are losing our rights, we are soon going to be degraded to that level. :/

[–]TheLonelySnail 45 points46 points47 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Aww that not totally true.

We're also good to send off and die in wars!

[–]MRA-automatron-2kb 1 point2 points3 points 8 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

I don't know when men are going to wake up.

It's ok to cut a baby boy's foreskin so I can't see what can be more degrading than that and we take this abuse like it's normal.

[–]redditicantrecall 1 point2 points3 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Because of men's pride and/or ignorance. Also many are afraid to be ostracized by women and therefore by a lot of society.

[+]NoImBlackAndDisagree -87 points-86 points-85 points 8 years ago (17 children) | Copy Link

lmao be real. yes there's discrimination against men but we still retain the power and a bunch of Facebook/Tumblr/huffpost/pinkhat feminists won't stop that. fact of the matter is we are statistically a superior gender intellectually.

[–][deleted] 15 points16 points17 points 8 years ago (16 children) | Copy Link

That's not true, there is no difference in average IQ.

[–][deleted] 21 points22 points23 points 8 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

IQ is a poor measure of intelligence. Take the person you are arguing with for example. He will probably tell you his IQ is 167 when he is clearly an idiot.

[–]NoImBlackAndDisagree 6 points7 points8 points 8 years ago (13 children) | Copy Link

http://personal.lse.ac.uk/kanazawa/pdfs/PAID2011.pdf

In table 3, the one with the consistent participants, at the age of 16 boys had an average IQ of 101.461 with an sd of 15.235 and girls had an average IQ of 99.681 with an sd of 14.085.

Though the difference in standard deviation is small, such differences can have a huge effect on the number of outliers. For example, in the model where IQ follows a normal distribution for each gender (mean 101.461 for boys with sd 15.235 and mean 99.681 for girls with sd 14.085), one would expect nearly twice as many boys as girls with an IQ above 130. To be precise, approximately 3.05% of boys and approximately 1.57% of girls would have an IQ of 130 or higher in this model.

These differences would grow wider as one gets farther from the mean. For example, using the same model as the previous paragraph, one would expect more than six times as many boys as girls with an IQ of 160 or higher.

[–][deleted] 13 points14 points15 points 8 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link

Right, Peterson even talks about that. But you just showed the average IQ is very similar. There are more male geniuses and male idiots, well established. Thanks for taking the time to share.

[+]Firtox1 points 8 years ago* [recovered] (3 children) | Copy Link

The difference according to most studies of ADULTS (not children or adoscents) is 3-5.

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points4 points 8 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

In favour of males?

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points3 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

The difference is as high as 7 points in pattern recognition, though women do have a 3 point advantage in verbal IQ.

Women have 20% fewer neurons in the cerebral cortex which has nothing to do with body size as the myoskeletal system is controlled by the cerebellum (also bigger in males). The only way to explain this disparity would be that the difference in 3-D visual-spatial processing is more than a standard deviation higher. Men were the hunters so it makes sense to have a clear advantage in that area.

[–]NoImBlackAndDisagree 0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

if you read my last paragraph you'll see why it's not actually 'very similar'

it's why women are not often innovators.

[–]RadioactiveTentacles 5 points6 points7 points 8 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link

You fail to take into account the disparity in development between sexes during the teenage years.

[+]Firtox1 points 8 years ago* [recovered] (1 child) | Copy Link

Yeah the difference is even higher in adults.

[–]RadioactiveTentacles 2 points3 points4 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Ah. I stand corrected.

[–]NoImBlackAndDisagree -1 points0 points1 point 8 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

the disparity at age 16 favors females, so no. i did not fail to take that into account, nor did this study.

[–]RadioactiveTentacles 0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

That's the point. Females have a more rapid, but shorter development period. Males, however, have a longer, but slower development period. It's natural that girls are more developed than boys during the teenage years.

Sorry bud.

[–]NoImBlackAndDisagree -1 points0 points1 point 8 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

i feel like you are misunderstanding the point i was trying to make: men are more intelligent than females. you arent disagreeing with that so i dont understand why are you acting like we are in disagreement.

[–]Devastration 22 points23 points24 points 8 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link

Of the top of my head, I know its legit illegal in France for a man to request a paternity test.

[–][deleted] 9 points10 points11 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

In Australia fathers must get court permission. It comes under Family Law and the Family Court. This is the same law and court that regularly fucks men over. It is possible to get a 'private' DNA test but it won't be admissible in court. https://www.alrc.gov.au/publications/35-parentage-testing/regulation-parentage-testing

[–]frenchcavalier 1 point2 points3 points 8 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

Ni it’s not. It’s 100% legal, the thing is, you need a court order to have it. It can be requested by either male or females.

[–][deleted] -2 points-1 points0 points 8 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Wrong. You need the mother's permission. Circumventing this in any way is illegal.

[–]Choice77777 1 point2 points3 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Bullshit. There's no way itcs illegal to defend your innocence in court by getting dna evidence. Wtf are you people smoking ?

[–]frenchcavalier 0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Try again, you need a court order to challenge the filiation. The only illegal thing is to get a DNA test without a court order.

[–]xNOM 1 point2 points3 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Well, at least she did have to pay for it all.

But DNA samples from Dali’s skin, nail and bones proved she was not his biological daughter, and she was ordered to pay for the costs of the exhumation.

In the article they say they are charging her for the entire process because he wasn't the father.

So on this case the law agrees with you.

Spain claims everything and doesn't relinquish it. She could claim anything she wanted and the only thing she may get is a bill for the museum.

[–]Itisme129 13 points14 points15 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Now that would be hilarious. They grant her ownership of most or all his estate only to tell her after that by law it needs to remain at the museum. Also, since she's now the owner she is required to cover the display and storage fees!

My grandfather was exhumed during court battles over his inheritance. I thought it was highly offensive to him, especially since it was only to prove paternity, but apparently people's greed matters more than letting the dead lie.

Men can trust a dead Salvador Dali's decayed remains more than a women empowered feminut decision. So surreal as that condom with his semen he showed against his father.

It shows how degraded our societies have become. The logical response to some bat-shit crazy money grubbing daughter of a whore would have been to very politely tell her it was too late to make a claim.

[–]ziatonic 1 point2 points3 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Well, at least they made her pay for the procedure.

[–]redfoot62 1 point2 points3 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

There needs to be more legal ramifications for paternity fraud. This is ridiculous.

Usually, if a man raises a kid that isn’t his and finds out after two years he isn’t the father, he’s still legally required to pay child support in most states in the US. In others, it’s even less time. That’s ridiculous. Not only should he not have to pay for a child that isn’t his, but she (And the actual father who she’ll sell out in a heartbeat when the bills come in) should cover how much he was swindled for if they want to avoid worse legal recourse. That would already be better treatment than most legal recourses on fraud.

[–]DarthCerebroX 12 points13 points14 points 8 years ago* (0 children) | Copy Link

I’m sure her mother was the one that fed her this bullshit about Dali being her dad... She was probably too ashamed to admit to her daughter that she had no clue who her father was... so she just made up some ridiculous story about him being the famous Dali.

I’m glad this all backfired in her face now though and she has to pay all that money back. If her mom DID tell her Dali was her dad then it’s too bad she isn’t alive still so the daughter could confront her about it... although, she’d have to be pretty naive to actually believe it.

There are certainly problems in the way custody is handled, and the way child support is put on men in an often one sided fashion, but you're just being dramatic now.
