It's odd that she's now spouting easily-disproved lies about the Uber driver.

I suspect that all she's achieving is trashing what was left of her future career and making herself unemployable.

If she'd taken full responsibility and apologised unreservedly, she could have moved interstate, got another, more junior, job after the story cooled down and the public lost interest, then got to work on rebuilding her career.

But now that she's demonstrated herself to be a cunt while sober as well as drunk, no employer in their right mind would touch her.

On the Inside Edition story, they show her looking at the camera and she just looks evil. Someone should report on cases that she prosecuted because I would bet money there are some wrongful convictions.

She has a past. When she was in high school her and some friends were driving around partying. Jody was driving the vehicle and was driving drunk. She hit another vehicle. Injured everyone including one of her friends being permanently put in a wheel chair. Somehow the beer that was in their vehicle ended up in the other persons vehicle and the man was sent to prison where he ended up passing away. Oh forgot to mention her mother was the district attorney in that small town of Beeville. Was totally covered up and the kids never even got as much as a ticket. Some call this recent incident karma.

I'm not defending her actions with this post at all. At some point people are going to backlash against Uber because lots of people are drunk and they don't want to be recorded in the vehicle. Now what the lady did was completely wrong but one night of drunkenness should not ruin your entire life unless you're drunk driving.
